Sleek, Practical, and Well MadeGriffinWe bought this bed in the as-is section at a sizable discount due to another customer returning it. Our example was in great condition and the bonus on top was that it was already assembled. The bed is very sleek, modern and practical with storage drawers. It has mostly solid wood pieces as the primary frame making it durable. Even at full IKEA pricing it is a bargain and looks much more upscale than the price suggests. When pairing with a mattress we went with a firm, lower profile memory foam mattress. I think ours was about 7-8 inches thick. Standard thicknesses are likely to look too tall on this otherwise low slung silhouette.5

Ikea needs to step up its gameRan YueWhen we opened the box, we found the support beam had a massive crack running right through it, so we drove 50 minutes to our nearest ikea to have it exchanged, no biggie. Except halfway through the build, we discovered that we were missing the leg of the bedframe. Now we have to go to ikea again, and just sleep with a half-assembled beg and a two dozen wooden planks strewn around the bedroom. Ikea's assembly guide also sucks. It doesn't even tell you what parts and how many of them are required for the build. If it did, we would have realized were missing a part when we took everything out of the boxes. Plus, nothing is labeled and all the screws are jumbled up into bags togther. Honestly, this bedframe is 600 dollars, I excepted better than this, but even cheap crap from amazon is superior in many ways. I would advise anyone thinking of buying to look elsewhere.1

This bed is beautifulBlakeThis is a beautiful bed. It's a bit more expensive than their other beds but the wood is pretty, The only downside is that the wood isn't on display. You'll see the very edge at the bottom of your mattress, but with such a pretty piece it would be nice to see a few inches exposed all the way around the mattress. I bought this bed in 2016 and it has performed really well. Design is understated, it makes the bedroom feel big, and slats and frame are holding up wonderfully. The drawers are a bit on the flimsy side, but fine for storing jumpers and scarves.
