Love it!TinaIt was exactly what we were looking for and wanted. It's sturdy, modern and looks really nice. The end result is from taking the time to assemble it correctly and following directions to the tee. The big headboard is perfect for giving that support when sleeping or sitting in bed.
Not the best productAnushreeThis was one of the three Ikea products ordered. Ikea has been a huge disapointment. First they messed up the order delivery and sent me a notification on the morning of the delivery that two of the four ordered products would not be arriving. I had a hard time re-scheduling installation and all else. After that, when the bed frame was installed, it was realized that bed slats had to be ordered separately. Why would these not be sold with the frame? Or atleast an option to purchase the same should be displayed. It was just ridiculous, trying to first get the frame to be delivered and then installed and then getting the slats and installing those. Lost about 2 weeks in that and also ended up paying additional for delivery. After everything, the bed creaks tremendously every night and I sleep hoping that the bed still is in good shape the next morning. Absolutely unexpected performance by Ikea. Very disappointing.
Awesome Bed FrameKatelynI genuinely don’t understand how people complain so much about this bed frame in the reviews. Some of the issues people complain about are ludicrous.
I haven’t had a single issue with this bed frame thus far in the almost six months that I have owned it. I waited to write a review for this reason.
It’s simple, clean looking and my favorite part is the extra drawers for storage. It compliments my room very nicely and was put together by my boyfriend in an hour.
It doesn’t creak or make any sounds. It’s sturdy. Doesn’t move, and the bed slates make my mattress extra comfy.
I’m convinced people must be putting it together incorrectly.
The reviews scared me off at first but after using it for myself I know otherwise. I even check the connections and screws every so often to make sure it’s stable. Again, no issues. I’m loving it.

Excellent Guest RoomElizabethI purchased the MALM bed with the 4 drawer kits. This makes it easy to have everything needed to make guests comfortable. The storage is great for keeping blankets, extra sheets, and towels. Even though it stated that two persons were necessary for assembly, I was able to complete the task entirely on my own.

Great and Affordable Bed!AshleyLove that the headboard is subtle and it doesn’t have a footboard. As well as its great quality for the price (can’t find this price anywhere else). Putting it together was mostly a breeze, besides have a little difficult making sure all pieces were fully tightened.
