Product details

If you need more storage, you can place another cabinet on top of the first one.

The shelves can be mounted flat or angled so that you can adapt them to the size of the shoes you are storing.

Ideal in smaller areas since the sliding doors save space.

The width of the product design is flawedDAQIANGThe width of the shoe cabinet is not suitable for placing men's shoes. It needs to be placed diagonally to place 8.5 shoes. The operation is not convenient enough. It is recommended to increase the width by 10 cm.2
Multi purposeCHRISTINAI bought this cabinet to use in our bathroom hallway. It holds all the extras so our bathroom doesn’t get cluttered. Plus it looks good.5
I love it.BryanI love it but wish there was a way to not have to drill it to the wall. Looks like it just needs more legs instead of having 3 in front .4

great storageANGELAThis cabinet is the perfect size for our closet. The depth is perfect to hold many shoes but not too wide to block the closet.5
Shoe SolutionRHIANNONSturdy. Well-Designed. Ideal Height. The only problem is the depth is not deep enough for a man’s size shoe to fit.4

nice design but...CathyWe bought two of these and they met the purpose. They were not that hard to install. However, we wish the quality can be better.3
Joe456I never our this product ????1
Very beautiful but ....AlexyeyeI bought two units last week. Very beautiful and clear instruction for assembling. Very happy with them. But two comments on design for future improvement. 1. It is for flush wall mount. But the two screws on the back panel for mounting are in the fixed position. The probability for both screws to be aligned with studs is zero. Mounting it on the sheet rock is not safe. There should be a horizontal beam to give a more flexibility to be aligned with studs. 2. Make sure that, if you have a baseboard on the wall, the baseboard needs to be lower than the leg length so that the back panel has clearance to be flushed with the wall. The leg length is 4.5 in, but my baseboard is 5.5 in high. So I couldn’t mount it on the wall flush. But I bought two units, so I had to drill holes on the bottom board to install 4 legs. It worked but not as nice as that if it were flushed with the wall.3
If you rent, go legless.MirasolNothing but love for this storage cabinet. Sturdy, functional and very easy to assemble. I wear a women's US 12 (EU 43), and this cabinet holds 14 pairs of shoes. A tip for renters WITHOUT young children: skip steps for leg attachment to avoid wall mounting. Without the legs installed, this unit is weighted and stable enough to independently stand on the floor. I'm a childless renter, so tipping isn't a concern but boring holes in my wall is. So, I omitted the legs and just added felt furniture pads to the base to protect the flooring. Legless, the cabinet loses 4 of height, but it still stands at a functional 35 tall (i.e., hip height).5
Good looking, terrible design, unstablexxcasillasI don't understand why it only has three legs. It is totally unstable at all! The mounting to wall hardware is very fragile and not good to use. Why not adding one more leg to make it more stable????? Cannot understand this design!!!2
I love itLegzI bought this for storage in my small bathroom to store towels and other Items. It makes the room more functional and it is easy access due to the sliding doors instead of swinging doors5
No legs!pattipetuinaThis cabinet only has legs on the front edge, and no legs on the back. You are required to mount the cabinet to the wall for it to stand up. It is my own fault that I did not notice this before I purchased it - I was just thrilled I found the perfect size and style cabinet I needed. I am not able to mount it to a wall so I have resorted to blocks of wood for back legs. Now it looks tacky.2
Easy to hack!EllenP101This fits perfect in my entryway. It’s slim enough and holds a lot of my shoes. I did a hack and bought some cute legs for the bottom and some wood tone self stick contact paper for the front and some fun knobs. It looks great!4
Great cabinetAl 24Did not purchase for shoes but for storage in the laundry room and it works perfectly.5
Too narrow for adult shoesedsciThe cabinet is not deep enough for typical adult shoes. You can optionally mount shelves at a downward angle, but you lose one shelf space because either the bottom row is partially blocked or to avoid that the spacing between two shelves becomes too short and and defeats the goal. If this is for kids’ shoes, great. But you may be happier with the larger SYVDE cabinet instead, which we also have.3

Our take on wood

Wood is the material most commonly associated with IKEA furniture, and for good reasons. It’s renewable, recyclable, durable, ages beautifully and it is an important part of our Scandinavian design heritage. At IKEA, we believe that sourced in responsible way, wood is a key change driver for climate mitigation. In 2012, we set a goal that by 2020 our wood would be from more sustainable sources. We are happy to announce that we have reached this goal and today, more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

Forests are critical for life on earth

Forests contribute to maintaining balance in the atmosphere, purify the air that we breathe and are part of the water cycle. They nourish wildlife biodiversity and provide homes for indigenous communities who depend on forests for their livelihoods. 90% of plant and animal species living on the planet need forests to survive. They provide sources of food, fuel, timber and many other ecosystem services that we rely upon. Sourcing approximately 19 million m3 of roundwood per year from some 50 countries, IKEA has a significant impact on the world’s forests and the timber industry and a huge responsibility to positively influence how wood is sourced. Responsible wood sourcing and forest management ensure that the needs of people dependent on forests are met, that businesses can work sustainably, that forest ecosystems are protected and biodiversity is enhanced.

100% wood from more sustainable sources

At IKEA, we work with strict industry standards to promote responsible forestry. We don’t allow any wood in our supply chain from forest areas that are illegal or contain high conservation values or from forest areas with social conflict. Before starting to work with IKEA, suppliers must demonstrate that they meet IKEA critical requirements on wood sourcing. IKEA requires all suppliers to source wood from more sustainable sources (FSC-certified or recycled wood). All suppliers are audited regularly and non-compliant suppliers are required to implement immediate corrective actions. By working together with our suppliers, we are proud to announce that we have reached our more sustainable sources goal, which we set out to achieve by 2020. Today more than 98% of the wood used for IKEA products is either FSC-certified or recycled.

IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030

As pressure on the world’s forests and the surrounding eco-systems increases due to unsustainable agriculture, the expansion of infrastructure and illegal logging, it is time to take an even more holistic approach to protect and support these important resources for generations to come. The IKEA Forest Positive Agenda for 2030 set out to improve forest management, enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change and support the rights and needs of people who depend on forests across the whole supply chain and drive innovation to use wood in even smarter ways. The agenda focuses on three key areas: • Making responsible forest management the norm across the world. • Halting deforestation and reforesting degraded landscapes. • Driving innovation to use wood in smarter ways by designing all products from the very beginning to be reused, refurbished, remanufactured, and eventually recycled.

We accomplish more by working together

For many years, IKEA has partnered with businesses, governments, social groups and non-governmental organisations to fight forest degradation and deforestation and increase the volume and availability of wood from responsibly managed forests both for our own supply chain and beyond. We are on a journey to improve global forest management and make responsible wood sourcing the industry standard, contributing to building resilient forest landscapes and improve biodiversity.

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill waste – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a valuable resource instead of being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look. The day your sofa or bed needs replacing, the material in the particleboard can be recycled into something entirely new.
