Remove dried spots immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.

Normal Wear KelseaSadly, this rug has not done well with normal foot traffic. At this point it looks like there is a sea of fuzz over the top. Only took a few months before this became noticeable. The color and design are beautiful but the rug won't hold up for more than a few months. 2

Beware of the qualityMichaelMy irobot is constantly getting entangled in the lose fibers of the rug. It pulls threads loose and leaves clumps of fabric. If you buy this rug avoid using a vacuum on it.3

AverageSallyRug is lovely but is woven poorly. The loops … pattern on rug…come loose with minimal wear to the rug. They can be pulled back through to the underside but it is quite a process that requires one to remove all furniture from rug to reach the underside. Not just one or two but at least six after only three months. What a pain. The colors are as shown and looks nice in room. Just extremely disappointed with the way it was woven!3

Form design process

Made using the pit loom weaving technique

The pit loom, as the name suggests, is positioned over a pit, and the wooden frame is angled for horizontal weaving. The artisan sits underneath the frame, and controls it with foot pedals and their hands, crafting rugs with intricate patterns and designs. This setup enables working from both above and below the frame, achieving a very tight weave. Producing a rug with this technique takes about 2-3 days, resulting in a work of art that can add character to any home.
