Clean, Crisp, VersatileDagmarExactly what I hoped for. I was a bit worried because the photos show a slight off-white hue. However, this set is true white. It's a lighter fabric that feels crisp and breathable. Note that the texture pattern is only on one side - the other side is plain white. I actually love it that way. It makes these so much more versatile. For example, when combined with colorful patterned bedding, you can turn it around to get the simple, plain white to avoid the different textures or patterns clashing. If using in combination with solid colors, the textured side adds interest. The textured pattern runs from side to side and not top to bottom. That's by design, not a factory defect. For those who struggle getting the duvet into a duvet cover: turn duvet inside out; reach into the cover all the way to the end corners; then grab the top corners of the comforter and hold on tight; flip cover over the comforter and shake it in place. No need for ties, it will stay in place!

Love the design but missing open endNathanI love how light and the simple design on this but when I went to put my comforter insert into the duvet I was greeted with all sides fully sealed shut.

Pattern of cover goes wrong way RichardThe pattern should go head to toe with the closures at the foot. This has closures incorrectly placed so that with the closures at the foot, the pattern goes side to side. I need a replacement that is assembled properly.
Very rough and scratchy.YuriI’m really disappointed with this duvet cover. The cotton feels extremely rough and scratchy, almost like sandpaper. It’s very uncomfortable to sleep with and definitely not the soft, cozy feel I expected from cotton bedding. The quality feels cheap and unpleasant against the skin. Would not recommend.

No Ties to Secure DuvetChrisI wish I’d have known there were no ties inside the corners of the duvet cover to secure the cover to the insert. I wouldn’t have bought it had I known. I hate having to grab and refit everything all the time. Regret buying.
Beautiful color.LoriThis is a deep green color, perfect for our bedroom. The textured side gives it even more depth, and it feels nice! I like the pillowcases because they fold over at the open end, so they don't slip off. The duvet cover is not too heavy; we can use it year-round. They wash nice, very little shrinkage the first time, none after that.
