cannot washAbigailawesome and super comfy, but also cannot wash this without it becoming crunchy and super sharp clear bits poke out at you after you dry it. There is nowhere on the tag that says to dry on low or air dry. I have nowhere in my apartment to even air dry this, and even in the dryer it takes at least 3 cycles on high to get completely dry, so if i have to turn down the heat to fix the issue it will take twice as long. it’s just not worth the money.
AwfulMelanieAir dried and still the inside got clumped together. It’s horrible. We live 3 hours away. Such a waste of money.

Soft, Stylish, and Easy to Care ForOrlandoI really like this comforter set. The color is beautiful and it feels comfortable and well made. After reading some of the reviews, I was honestly a little nervous to wash it, but I followed the care instructions and dried the comforter on low heat, and it came out perfectly fine. No issues at all. I imagine a lot of the negative reviews may be from people who didn’t follow the washing and drying instructions. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.

Crunchy comforterAnonymousI picked this up in store and didn't read reviews. I had the same experience of washing, drying and making the bed only to find crunchy hard plastic bits poking out all around the edges of the fabric. I really wish Ikea would address this. It's still functional, but the "comfort" is compromised by getting jabbed by tiny plastic bits when moving around at night. I really really want to love it. I've never experienced this elsewhere.
Favorite ComforterBrookeI read all the reviews about the comforter melting in the dryer before purchasing. I washed in delicate cycle and took forever to dry. I used dryer balls and low heat, no problems. I’m obsessed with this comforter and want to purchase another as a back up. A little hesitant due to other reviews saying they have changed the fabric. This one is soft! I do not like down comforters, I get very hot. This one has weight but is breathable. Might not be for everyone but it’s my favorite comforter I’ve purchased.

Don't buy!GraceI bought it and when I took it out of the package it was super wrinkly so I put it in the dryer just to fluff it out. When I took it out after less than 5 min and put in my bed it was was like crunchy and did not look good. I try to return it but since I didn't have my receipt they said I could not return it. Bad buy! Don't do it.

Burned in dryerEstherI had this for over a year and really liked it, it was soft and comfortable. the first few times I washed and dried it I had no issues but when I moved apartments and used the dryer, it burned the comforter in several spots, leaving these huge, ugly brown stains that were hard and crackly and couldn't just be bleached out. I had to throw it away! so upset, $80 down the drain.
Washing ruins itFrancesI bought it in store, so didn't read reviews like I should have. Washing and drying it made it burned inside, with wrinkled, crunchy, plastic like crumbles all inside the comforter, And it shrank so much, it doesn't even cover the bed. I'm going to return it. Believe all the negative reviews and don't purchase this.

Cannot put in dryerRyanSimilar to others, I ran into the bad experience of the filling of the comforter burning in some spots when I put the comforter in the dryer.
I like the comforter overall, including the color, fabric texture, and the warmth it provides. It’s just a shame you can’t realistically launder it at home. Should be labeled as hand wash only.
Was lovely until i washed it. GenevieveIf you have this blanket do not put it in a dryer. It melts these weird crunchy pieces of batting. Very disappointing. Hang dry only I guess. I returned mine. I’ve never had a dryer ruin my comforter before. This was a first.

In no way is this a Queen size comforter - much too smallJeanI was in the Orlando store and purchased what is labeled a "Full/Queen" comforter. This store is over an hour away from my home. Today I put the comforter on my bed and it barely covers the mattress. The packaging states the dimensions are 90"x92". I measured the comforter and it is only 80"x82." Either there is a manufacturer defect, or, who knows? What I do know is I called IKEA and they are arranging to have the comforter picked up, and are issuing me a full refund. Just disappointed that it did not work out. I've been looking for a new comforter for a long time. Looks like I am still looking!
Great but melted in the dryerCarterLoved this comforter but then washed it and put in the dryer and it melted parts of it and it is now unusable. I even read the tag to see if there were any directions for washing it but there were none. Very disappointed and a waste of money.

Like a dream but also a nightmare.HaleyI love this comforter. The texture is beautiful, the color is dreamy and it's like a cloud. My only issue is washing it. I got a king. Barely fits in my washing machine. The machine overflows, the comforter doesn't get entirely cleaned. Then the dryer. DO NOT PUT IT IN THE DRYER. The polyester insides melted, creating discoloration and texture on the outside where you can see and this was on medium heat and only 40 minutes in the dryer. Like I said, discomfort is really beautiful. Just a huge pain in the butt to clean. I got it thinking it was a duvet cover, not an entire.
