FYI the light "beige" color is actually a gray putty color, not the subtle buttermilk-ish color shown on the website. If I had realized, I would have went with one of the darker colors. Seems to be paintable though, so I'll probably paint or stain it later to a proper color.4

Perfect PiecesSusanI have wanted two of these for my living room for a long time. They actually look even better than expected. The color is a very close match to our wall color, so they look like almost like built-ins. They help to visually anchor a short wall that is mostly window. These fit perfectly on either side, and I have mounted a smal piece of wall decor above each of them to draw the eye up. I plan buying some lighting to highlight the space later; the store was out of my choices at the time of this purchase. My husband assembled these pieces by himself and found the pictures more helpful than the written directions. He said he would have liked the backs to be slightly more substantial. We did secure these to the wall, as they are quite high, and we had to shim them a bit because our floor slopes. They are such a great addition; I felt like I had a new front room!
I only took off some because the pieces had been $50 cheaper the first time we looked, which was a more fair price.5

Gorgeous bookcaseRebeccaThis really is a beautiful piece of furniture. The color is beautiful, and it looks very well made. It was pretty painless to assemble. I bought one originally and the only bad thing I can say is that there were a few paint chips that almost caused me to return it, but it would have been a huge hassle to try and rebox and return it, so we just covered the ones we could and will try to find a paint match. But I did buy a second bookcase and it was perfect!5
