Stylish and simpleLorrieI bought this 4yrs ago and need another to balance my dining room. Im glad that the Light beige is still available. Disappointed that the price went up $80 more over time and it's hardly in stock at my store. It's good quality wood but can be wobbly on rug so need to tie down with the bracket. I was blessed to drop down my cost with the Veterans day promo and gift cards they offered, however I had a pay a big chunk for large delivery. I wished they offered pickup at store for those items that need to be shipped.

Extremely Disappointed BernadetteExtremely disappointed with the lack of quality materials. Heavy particle board with sharp edges and 32 pages of picture instructions. Had I seen the 40 step instructions before purchasing I would have paid for assembly. Had I realized the lack of quality I expected from an IKEA product, I would not have purchased it. Extremely disappointed the panels were scratched and a white substance randomly stuck to the particle board. A damp cloth might remove it all. This is the quality normally received by lesser vendors not the Ikea brand. Extremely surprised with scratched panel especially since so we'll packaged. I was happy unpacking it as I thought I was unwrapping something so special. Spent over 2 hours assembling now to contemplate returning. I have a small vehicle and limited physical abilities so to return this is a another nightmare. I thought I was going through all the added pains to have a beautiful piece of furniture. I am sad and extremely disappointed.

A Great Bookcase!VictoriaThis bookcase was bought in the color black and it totally matched my son’s other new furniture from another furniture store. Black color can be kinda funny with tint colors, but this went with the other furniture great! So glad we bought this, because it’s exactly what my son needed!! 👍🏻
solid bookcase but color not as describedGretchenWent together easy (you'll need a screwdriver) and looks great in my old house. FYI the light "beige" color is actually a gray putty color, not the subtle buttermilk-ish color shown on the website. If I had realized, I would have went with one of the darker colors. Seems to be paintable though, so I'll probably paint or stain it later to a proper color.
