Stains and bubblesTeresaI’ve written a previous review stating the truth about this item and my experience and review was not posted … I uploaded images of stains and bubbles that formed .. won’t upload again since it seems like it’s a waste of my time since Ikea doesn’t show my honest review
Scratches & etchingMicheleWe've had the countertops for appx 3-4 months and we like it, and it's easy to clean.
The installer marred the surface where one section was caulked. I wrote Ikea and never heard back. The countertop has scratched and it has etched. Also it doesn't have many dark areas and it's more white with scattering of greyish/black 'veins'. We don't put hot things on it and I'm constantly wiping water so it can't leave marks.
We got this because it uses recycled material and is not toxic to those who work with it which is a plus. Nor does it need to be sealed.

AMAZING!!! DON’T SLEEP ON THESE!!!HaleyI was a little nervous about getting these countertops because you can only see a small sample in store. When they arrived, I was blown away! They look so much better in real life than they do in the pictures. They are seriously a dream! Working with IKEA is also amazing and super easy. They help you make all the decisions, and do all the work with the contracted countertop company. My store worked with Accent countertops, who were fine to work with. From the time we ordered the countertops to the time they were installed was about two months. We used the $70 laminate countertops from IKEA while we waited. I seriously have no complaints, they look like real stone, they feel like real stone, and they are stunning!
