Great chair except…SusanGreat chair. Easy to assemble. My 6 year old grandson helped me. Only issue is sometimes the wheels don’t move freely. I think rubber wheels might be better than the plastic ones.
That said, I still recommend this chair.

Love this chair!BrendaThis is perfect for my home office. My husband bought one for himself after trying mine out. It is very comfortable. People who complain that the wheels don't work need to read the instructions! The wheels only move when you sit on it. It's a safety precaution feature.
Great chairGBought this chair with the white seat color and Malskar black base with the optional seat cushion and love it. Nice design, surprisingly comfortable for an inexpensive little chair and works well with the white IKEA drawing table that I bought a few years ago. Initially wasn’t sure if this product was available with a white color seat as IKEA offers this exact same chair in multiple other seat colors (but not white) with a different product name Eldberget. After some research found this version in white and glad that I did. Excellent product.
Pretty comfortable for short useAnonymous reviewerThis thing goes together so easily. Maybe 15 minutes and you are done. The metal is a sleek white and might scratch easily so be gentile when assembling the screws. This is my first IKEA office chair and out of the box I thought my wheels were bad as they would not roll. After a few minutes reading all the materials included in the box I noticed the wheels are locked by default and unlock once you apply weight by sitting down. Genius design.
Unfortunately, one of my wheels were deformed from the factory, so I had to head back and exchange for a new one.
I bought 2 of these and using them as dining chairs. They are pretty comfortable, but I'm not sure it's something I would sit 6 hours in because they're mostly all plastic. There is no leaning back, but you can adjust the height. The seat swivels very smoothly. I have the all white chairs and they look really great.
I know selection changes yearly, but I wish they made more seat cushion colors and even more choices of top part colors. They are easy to switch out.
