Clean designJoBought lid with the basket drain unt as I loved the clean look it gave the sinks on display at the store. The idea was just to use the strainer portion to replace the current one so this would fit and give the clean look to the sink however the sales person failed to mention when I was asking about this that it would not work on your standard sink at home due to the round screw in design that was specific to ikea sinks/drains. Will try to come up with a way to use however may just end of returning. Could replace the entire unit at the drain however do not like the fact that is made of plastic and not steel which may leak or cause problems down the line.4
