Almost burnt my house downEmyPlease reconsider buying this product unless you are looking for a lamp that will short circuit and burn the hair off your hands. I was surprised by the electric sparks that came out of the plug as soon as I plugged in this lamp. Thankfully the circuit breaker tripped or else I wouldn't have been here to warn others and write this review. This product is a clear liability and Ikea should recall all defective units
Lagtryck lampAnonymoustook me awhile to put it together but I did it and mine somehow is leaning...do love the ambiance it gave. I just put a piece of plastic on the bottom of the lamp to balance it out so it looks straight lol. Also, the box said 3x 5w bulbs, but I can't find any; so, I end up with 3x 25w ikea bulb which was placed next to this lamp. Hopefully it doesn't cause any hazard.
Light has a gross green tintMichaelI used soft white (2700K) bulbs from Ikea, but the light from this lamp has a green tint. This was also an issue with a different brand of bulb
Hard to put togetherPatriciaThis lamp looks good from far away, but up close it is not as quality looking as it could be. I think it is a little overpriced for what it is, and it is difficult to put together. Getting the circles to match so that the layers fit together correctly takes quite a bit of time.
Looks Nice But Cheap MaterialMidiaIt looks nice from far away. However, if you look closer, you would notice that the material is really cheap, flimsy, and the whole lamp is unstable. It is not high/tall enough, you can see the 3 sections where they attach which does not make it look as a one unit as it should be! I ended up putting it in my teenage child room. Not classy enough for a main room.
The warmth of the lightKathrynThe warmth of the light is very nice. It's not a lamp you move around. And you have to be careful what's around it. Not sure how the white will look once it gets dusty, if it's easy to clean.
Easy to assemble, goes well with Phillips HueJesseNot much trouble to assemble, sections velcro together. As another reviewer stated, some Philips Hue bulbs work very well in this. Also appreciate the foot button to power it on and off.
