Body of Light can rotateXiaoPeople who are complaining about this light being in their eyes probably didn't know that the light can be adjusted about ten degrees toward the back of the monitor, with the glare successfully out of your eyes. Great monitor light, affordable and easily clips on to the back of my curved monitor. Wish it had adjustable light temperatures instead of just warm light setting.
Makes a huge differenceKatieI hypothesized that a dedicated light for my workspace would improve my desire to work from my desk with an extra monitor instead of from the couch or the bed.
I was right! I chose this light because it was competitively priced compared to online options, came in a nice color (still neutral enough but friendly) and seemed to have minimal set up.
There's 3 light levels. I keep it on the highest one. I think the levels are generally negligible unless you're really sensitive.
I like that that light adjusts so I can illuminate my screen and keyboard when I'm working on the computer and can adjust it to illuminate my notebook or planner during no-screen work time.
It's bright enough that I don't need to use any other lights when working, and it also has the bonus of providing decent light when on video calls.

Just what I neededSandraStarted researching monitor bar lights and ran into the usual problem...huge price differentials along with way too many "features" I doubted I'd need. These IKEA lights were perfect. Took literally seconds to mount them and have light! Am pretty impressed with the on/off button. They turn on and adjust with just a slight touch and off with just holding your finger for an extra second. Pretty cool for just $25! I have dual monitors so bought one for each. Entire desktop is now perfectly illuminated!

Great LightAnonymous reviewerThis is a super cool light. It sits on top of the monitor and the support is bendable in case you need it to sit differently than its default position.
You can change teh light level and turning it on is a light touch, turning it off is a touch and hold. With the light sitting on top of the monitor it is totally out of the way, lights teh keyboard and the area in front of the keyboard, while not interfering with anything else. You can slide it side to side if that helps with your situation as well.
Read this before you buy...MPros: fits over computer monitor (even with a curved back), illuminates entire desk area and some. Cons: actual LEDs lack a white cover (has a transparent cover) and cord is too short.
The lack of a white cover over the LEDs causes eye strain for me within minutes of use. I would like to use the light elsewhere but the cord is too short to have practical value and using an extension cord looks hideous. I am disappointed with this product.

Nice, provides more light than I expectedAnonymous reviewerIt is a good little light. It washes the whole desk top, which is more than I expected. Over all the design is great - BUT, there is an issue. Turning the darn thing on. The actual button is covered by the light casing. I find it hard to get the thing to turn on if I am actually trying to. But if I, or the cat, accidently brush where the button is - then it turns right on. And I have yet to get the dimming to work. But that said, I still think it is great. I would definitely get another one.

The light from the lamp is a nice warm hue.
I thought having a light right on top of a monitor would be more of a problem shining right on the screen but it's not that bad.
Lights up the rest of my desk surface perfectly.
Three light levels are nice.
It's stable where it mounts.
Pretty unobtrusive.
CONS:
It takes about 5 tries before the lamp will turn on. Five long holds of the button but it has always turned on...eventually.
I wish it came in black. My monitor, almost every monitor your can buy, is black.
Good light output, limited fitting options ErnieThe light was nice but it was too big for a laptop screen and too small for all the monitors I had. This made the light tilt towards the screen.
Solid ValueJordanI had been looking at Ben Q bars to get back desk space from my clamp on task light and stumbled on this option. For the price it is hard to beat. Simple but feels well built. Fits well on my 25" Alienware monitor. Only wishes are that if had a option for a cooler lighting color as I prefer that in an office setting. Also, wish it came with a wall plug. Overall, for the price, this is a very strong option for your desk lighting needs.
Great little desk lamp AbelSeems to be much better quality than the BenQ screen bar imitators and the color is nice too, lighting is bright enough for me and I usually keep it on the dimmer side anyway.
handsome nice monitor lightSangworks well, pretty simple and bright(adjustable). I only have usb-a plug at work, so it's not as easy, but at work I have usb-c plug so it was easy to use. the angle of the light was so that the light was hitting my eyes if I slouch a bit.. so it corrects my posture as well.
Great lampStephanieThis little lamp is unobtrusive but has improved my work space by 100%. Easy to assemble, easy to set up on my monitor, easy to use. The light is a more natural color (not the super bright white of many LEDs). It has 3 brightness settings. USB-c plug, fyi. Definitely recommend!!
