Quick and easyJessicaThis was quick and easy to install5
FawcetMarieI was looking for a basic faucet that had style, and this is it! Beautiful in it’s plainness, it does what it’s meant to do. . No frills, no extras, just one hard working, good looking faucet at a fair price.5
Leaked after a week.EricMy landlord installed this faucet and the Ikea counter top for my apartment as a nice kitchenette. He hired a Plumber to hook it all up for us. 1 month of use, now I noticed water leaking out from the base plate and the body of the faucet every time I used it. Too late it has been sucked up by the particle board inside the counter and has begin to warp and bubble up the counter top. Hoping this will be warrantied along with the counter top ruined from this faulty faucet.1
FaucetChrisVery nice basic faucet.5
ugly but works.Isabelleugly but works.5
AnonymousWorks and looks great looking for one for upstairs.5
GreatJessicaI bought this for a rental property and it works well.5
Leaks within 2-4 monthsAnonymousI bought one of these LAGAN faucets and after 3-4 months it started to leak. It slightly damaged my Ikea Karlby countertop, but not too much. I replaced with the exact same model as I could exchange for free and thought the first one was a fluke. Big mistake. The second LAGAN I got lasted only 2-3 months before it started leaking all over the counter. I use this on a rental, so the tenant didn't alert me until after about 3-5 days after the it started to leak. Too late now. My Karlby counter top is ruined, stained, and has starting to swell up since it's particleboard. Now I need to replace both the counter top and the faucet (and stop renting it while I replace it, so money lost there too). Makes me doubt about getting anything plumbing-related from ikea again. I would stay clear of this item, I hope Ikea discontinues it to avoid other customers having to go through this. By the way, the first one was installed by a plumber, and the second one by us. So unlikely it's user error in installation when 2 different people installed the same model -- including a professional plumber.1
Great buy!IdaniaWorks good, and you can't beat the price!4
inexpensive faucetCindyLove how smooth the handle motion on this faucet is! We did have to buy a fitting to make it work with our plumbing though; not sure if all ikea faucets would work this way.5
Faucet leaks internally do not buy itAnonymousI bought this faucet for a basement. It’s been installed for a few months, but was never used. I had guests and went to put something into the cabinet to discover water seeping through the upper hole of the granite and inside cabinet when the supply lines were open. The plumber came and we discovered that the internal mechanism of the faucet is bad and cabinet is damaged because you can’t see a leak until it’s too late and covered in mold. Thanks IKEA. Pure junk.1
After 6 months, Faucet leaks!AnonymousAfter about 6 months, I noticed that the faucet was leaking inside the mechanism (From below the handle and above the sink). Under the sink cabinet is destroyed and the whole room smells of mildew.1
Good cheap faucetAnonymous reviewerThe Lagan faucet is very inexpensive but it works well and feels solid.5
Too shortAnonymousI bought this model only to find out when installing that the water feed hoses are not long enough as non Ikea faucets you buy the length of hoses you need, not with Ikea's faucets.. will returning it soon can't use it.1
Good kitchen sink faucetGhassanNeeded a quick replacement for leeky faucet and this faucet did the job. Unbeatable price and very easy to install. No issues so far.4
HorribleSabinaPurchased 6 for rental properties. 4 of them constantly come loose and undone to the point it'll come off completely. Used less than a year. Have one more expensive ikea kitchen faucet that still comes undone as well. Maybe it's just all ikea kitchen faucets. You get what you pay for.1
Great for what it is and the priceTinaThis was surprise well made and worked great for the cost!5
Good dealLelandMy old faucet was leaking too much and costing me money. I didn’t want to invest a lot of money in a new one since I’m remodeling. This was perfect. Stylish. Useful. Doesn’t leak! I may move it to my laundry room when I’m done. Definitely keeping it.5
Quality at a reasonable priceAnonymousA solid well built faucet. Needed a simple faucet for laundry room. Easy to install and works well very happy with this faucet.5

Saving water every time you turn on the faucet

All of our kitchen faucets save up to 40% water. They have a simple water-saving device that reduces the water flow (but without you noticing any difference).

Material

What is brass?

Brass is a mixture of copper and zinc and the amounts vary depending on the desired properties. Copper is usually the main material and the more zinc you add results in the brass being harder and stronger, but also results in it being more difficult to shape and less resistant to rust. Brass can be recycled as brass but never into its original metals. At IKEA we use brass for things like knobs, handles, frames and taps.
