Difficult to Build and FragileCedricNot my favorite IKEA product. Looks decent, but was a struggle to understand the directions as there are multiple different ways to configure it (where the cabinets are located, etc.) so the instructions have to accommodate that. Also of note, this storage system requires you affix it to the wall for stability so placement will be determined by your stud locations. I wouldn't recommend this or buy it again if given the choice.3
Beautiful, confusing and cheapBatrekThis new furniture system is quite beautiful, I have to give ikea props for designing something that looks SO ELEVATED and making it quite affordable, but I had issues with the instructions that are spread across all the different parts. I bought this specific system as marketed here but the instructions really confused me because they are spread across all the parts— it’s actually SO SIMPLE to assemble but the instructions could have been better and specific to each build. As for quality, you get what you pay for— it’s made in Italy but it’s cheap particle board, the doors are cardboard thin and the track they rest on is literally a plastic strip lol. I can’t complain for the price though, it really looks so nice and its modularity is so fun and flexible for all spaces! One of the most beautiful products ikea has made in a while, though I would have gladly paid more for better quality!! 4
