Too weak to be used as a bookshelfAlexeyThese easily sag and permanently deform under the weight of books. The weight limit is just 44 lbs, which means at best shelves could be filled to 1/4 if you have large volumes (e.g., photography, books), or 1/2 if you have small volumes. Considering the system's dimensions, you either need to waste a lot of space storing nothing, or only use it for empty boxes, pillows, and stuffed animals. It's hard to reinforce these shelves with metal or wooden planks attached underneath or on the front or back, because the material is not dense enough to hold even a thick screw in.
