Looks nice but scratches very easilyBradThis table is what we wanted from a size and look standpoint, but it’s very susceptible to scratches. We’ve had it up for less than a day and it already has scratch marks from light use. I don’t recommend this.2
Nice tableLezlieThis was easy to put together and is what was expected. It does look like a cheap laminate table, but it’s super sturdy and better quality than one at Target.4
Top chips easilyHeatherIt’s a good size and shape and I like the storage. But the top chips easily. It literally chips from nothing. We haven’t had it that long and we take good care of it but there are tiny chips popping up everywhere. I guess you get what you pay for but I expected it to be more durable. We don’t even put glasses directly on it, we use coasters.3
We love it! Nice buy for a great price.MargaretThis is the second one we bought. The first one we had for about three years. We put baskets underneath to put paperwork and clutter in and the baskets got too heavy and the bottom portion broke. So we got another one! Actually we bought two more. One for upstairs and one for the basement.5
Love the simplicityAnonymousThis coffee table matches the end tables I have and blends perfectly with my other furniture. It’s a good size and has a lower shelf. The best part? The price!! Much less than comparable tables at other stores. A very welcome addition to my living room.5
Lack coffeeJohnThis is my second time purchasing this, I had the first one for ten years and it held up through two moves plenty of space and user friendly assembly5
Great "little" coffee table.MichaelAlthough I measured the table dimensions on the floor where this coffee table sits, it seems a bit larger when assembled. Easy to assemble and looks fantastic.5
Falling apart TimmyThe lament is coming off3
Nice tableLynnSturdy, easy to put together and looks nice. 5
Lack Coffee Table DamagedDavidThe Lack coffee table arrived dented on the corners & edges. It is inexpensive, so I didn’t bother with a return. My prior Lack table arrived with similar damage. I don’t recommend having them shipped. 2
Purchased 3 TimesFayWhen I first moved into my current home, I didn’t know how I wanted to decorate. But I needed something to hold me over, so I got the Lack coffee table b/c it was inexpensive. Well, it’s 11 years later, I’ve decorated and I’m on my 3rd Lack. Yes, I could spend a lot of money on something more sturdy, but since the coffee table gets the most use in my house, it gets the most beat up. I like this table for its look, but stick with it because it’s light (easy to move, which we do a lot), practical (the shelf), takes a beating without stressing me out about the money paid and easy to replace. I’ve upgraded all my furniture, but keep replacing the Lack with itself. When buying a piece of furniture this inexpensive, one knows it's not going to be the most durable. For me, though, all other positives combined makes it a winning buy. Honestly, I wish they would make a 60” one! 5
Cheap and poorly madeJoshuaThe table doesn't cost much but that is for a reason. The materials are cheap and not durable. Very disappointed in this purchase and the poor customer service from Ikea.2
Great looking coffee tableBorisThis is a very nice looking table with quite accommodating size, easy assembly, and practical.5
Large and sleek.DanielI’m so happy I decided to buy this coffee table. It’s perfect for my needs. It’s pretty large and minimalistic. Easy to assemble and the price is even better. 5
Great Value. Great Service.DianaFirst one arrived damaged. IKEA sent a new one with no hassles! 5
Great pieceBernardEasy to assemlbe - looks great and is solid 5
Coffee table RisetI bought the set side table with coffee table they were perfect all the way. Color and price and easy to put together as they are very light weight.5
Luxe for lessAnonymous reviewerI searched high and low for an affordable (for me) table that fit my asethetic and this one fit the bill. I wasn’t sure what I’d really get for $50.00. This far exceeded my exceptions. Perfect for an average size living room. I paid TaskRabbit to assemble and the table was up in less then 20 minutes .5
easy to scratchAntonwhile attaching the lower horizontal surface, I was moving the shelf to align it with the fixtures, which left both legs that were at the bottom totally scratched. I guess this is what you get for $50. Otherwise, the table looks fine and matches a whole bunch of other Ikea furniture that I have at my place :)3
Great price - study table RudyThis coffee table is nice and big plus really sturdy. Assembly was very easy and it looks like you spent way more than you did. 5

Accessories for LACK

Material

What is constructed board?

We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
