The bottom part of the table was chipped and cracked right out of the box. Returning it was difficult for me, so I had to keep it as is. Does the job but no drill holes?ChristyI was very surprised that this one comes without drill holes for the bottom shelf. We have placed the table without the shelf since we will need an electric drill to complete.
Considering the price, a very good coffee tableJohnI've had my LACK coffee table now for a couple of years. I just made a cross-country move with this thing thrown into a moving truck, and it came through unscathed and as good as new. I love that it's so lightweight, and the honeycomb material is an ingenious way of keeping it pretty sturdy despite its light weight. To be fair, I don't put anything heavy on it, and I have the top covered with a runner. If/When this thing gives out, I'll likely buy another one. My ONLY complaint is the bottom shelf which, unfortunately, is NOT made of that same honeycomb material and thus sags pretty easily.
Damaged productGirishI was really looking forward to this coffee table, but unfortunately, it arrived damaged. While the packaging appeared intact from the outside, I was disappointed to find broken corners on the surface upon unboxing. It's frustrating to receive a brand-new item in such poor condition.

After many yearsSarahWe bought this table during covid; we needed something and with the shipping crisis, this was one of the only cheaper options available. It's now 4 years later and I honestly should have replaced it after year one. Wobbly, easy to scratch, and made of cheap particle board. The wobble is the worst part: morning coffees spilt, a broken vase... it's just a mess. Do not recommend if you can help it.

Damaged and missing partsIvarsCheap material still ok table which is to be expected, so would be good value but
* the logs are hollow and one of them was damaged during shipping with 2 large holes - now have to wait 1 week for replacement
* the instructions list only 1 plastic bit for holding the bottom shelf part, but then in assembly steps you need 2... so another part I have to reorder
overall way too time consuming for a cheap simple table

Material
What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fiberboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
