Great Stools, Different Quality From BeforeKatieOther than the $4 increase, these stools are great. Easy to assemble and quite sturdy. Compared to the stools I ordered in August 2025, the October 2025 ones were rougher and the lacquer tint is thinner. You can feel the difference in the stools—the wood is more prominent and not entirely covered by the tint, which results in a rougher texture (and probably less durable surface as the tint is the protective layer).
Alternative Coffee Table IdeaNealI wanted a more versatile/less obtrusive coffee table/end table option and decided upon the Kyrre stools. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Can move them around or use them as extra seating as needed. I combined the stools with a Forlunda pouffe to complete the setting in front of my sofa.
