Great lamp, mediocre speakerAgataI love the design - especially with a color changing bulb it makes the room pop. It’s well made, feels sturdy. However, as a Bluetooth speaker it is quite bad. It randomly skips parts of songs/podcasts, no matter the distance and position of the phone. The forced opening of Spotify is burdensome, too. But I bought for 50% off so I’m fine with that.
Broken ShadeTatianaThey really didnt wrap the shade very well, because it arrived broken!
My mom ended up opening it, and she even cut her hand.
I don`t know how I`m able to contact Ikea to get a new Lampshade, but their is no ikea in Silverton, Texas

Not A SONOS Killer, But A Good, Fun, Budget ReplacementCalvinI received the KULGLASS lamp this morning and hooked 'er up. The lamp itself looks really interesting and feels very premium.
After hooking up to my iPhone I found the sound to be decent. This is not "audiophile" quality, but for a $100 premium lamp/speaker combo, I think there is a great value.
At this time, I only have one lamp but will be "upgrading" with a second one to use in stereo-effect in my bedroom. IMO this will push the audio over-the-top and make it even more enjoyable.
A couple cons that I hope could be addressed in the future..
No internet support - a pro for some, but the option would be nice, as it would add more functionality.
The shade - the glass shade feels pretty sturdy, but I could see wanting more options to fit the special mount. I especially would like to see a non-tinted option (not green or red!)
I think this is a really nice product that could easily be even cooler with a couple tweaks.
For reference: I'm using a Hue Wi-Fi bulb, which works great.
Good Value and Great AestheticsEzequielI’ll start off by saying that this new speaker lamp is NOT in fact, compatible with the previous IKEA x SONOS Symfonisk line of speaker lamps. Those were a special line of Sonos products and this lamp is IKEA’s own, individual, design. With that, I’m not sure why some reviews are upset over this; nowhere does the listing detail compatibility with the SONOS/ Symfonisk product line(s).
With that out of the way; it’s a great lamp and for the price, its actual a pretty solid value, considering the Symfonisks were basically double the price of this (albeit with more capabilities, but still). I’m digging the colorways on these and overall, for a Bluetooth speaker with the added bonus of a cool, funky vibe, I’m pretty thrilled.
P.s. don’t expect this speaker to blow you away; it’s a $130 speaker + lamp 2-in-1. It sounds great for the price point, but just want to provide awareness for those who may be expecting home-theatre level quality haha!
