Doesn't work in JapanKeiichiEven if you have Type B double outlets (with three-prongs), this adaptor plug doesn't work in Japan because the separation distance between the two outlets are 38mm in US and 32mm in Japan.

Perfect outlet expander for right spotsReginaldMost outlet expanders require more space than the wall plate in the vertical dimension. Not this one. It fits in tight spots like right above bathroom sink fixtures.
waste of time money and effortKateso tired of wasting time, money, and effort on what turns out to be junk. absolute crapshoot if this kind of thing works, for which in this case it didn't; as while it did fit the outlet, upon plugging it in there were sparks. Hopefully they'll take it back without packaging and receipt ~ that would be nice. **Don't think buying "American" is better. I bought a $100 heating pad and the switch mechanism broke right when the warranty expired, just like the good 'ol days before most manufacturing was sent overseas... lol as if global corps care where their stuff is made.
