Need to make right and left versions SabrinaOR stop putting on the directions that the hinges need to faced a certain way in order to work!
Because they do not. The part they you say needs to be faced up doesn’t need to be face up.
Moreover it’s impossible with this new version. The old version you had where you could literally flip the door hinge to face the correct way you no longer make. So why have a pic on them stating this side needs to be face up when you know it’s impossible IF the door opens from left to right!?!?
Either make right and left versions OR bring back the pop on pop off version (which also made it easier to attach the door to the closet because you could put on the closet hinge first attached the door hinges to the door,then just pop on them on to the closet hinge and it’s in) OR delete the right side up instruction all together because it’s unnecessary I put them on upside down and they work fine. I was also able to still adjust the hinges as needed.

Soft Close Failed a Week After InstallHonour5 out of 6 soft hinges stopped working on my PAX unit and my wardrobe doors no longer soft close. I installed them about a week ago. I tried adjusting with the gray button but it seemed to do nothing. I also searched online to find solutions but I found a bunch of other reviews saying the same thing. It's an inconvenience to have to take them off to return them to possibly have the same thing happen again. Ikea, please find a solution to this, especially since so many of these are bought.

IKEA hinges - not like they used to be.DavidI’ve been a longtime ikea customer having installed several kitchens over the years.
These were for IKEA cabinets. They opened to 110 degrees which was the smallest they had. I had wanted 95 degrees, which I’ve used before. So I’ll have to figure out ways to prevent the cabinet doors from banging against other cabinets and the walls.
Also, these come attached with a black vinyl sleeve over the screws which forms a tight fit into the pre-drilled holes. These worked fine - except when they didn’t. Some of the vinyl sleeves were poorly made or poorly attached so that trying to drive them into the predrilled holes actually destroyed them resulting in loose hinges. Not good.
Finally the self-closing feature is, well, not always self-closing. Probabably because the spring tensioner that does the closing is less than adequate.
All in all I’ll have to say that these are not like the quality I’m accustomed to for ikea products.
Actually had to swap some of the hinges.

Clean, and extremely functional Design!KimThis was fairly easy to setup. We did not realize these hinges provide soft closure which is extremely nice. The hardware was a very heavy quality design. Wish the instructions provided written information for adjusting the doors once mounted.
