The shoe shelf makes maximum use of space because it has alternating levels. Boots and higher shoes fit in the front level and lower ones in the back.

You can easily see and reach your shoes since the shelf pulls out.

The shoe shelf is of metal and withstands all the dirt and moisture that insists on coming home with you and your shoes when you’ve been outdoors.

Solid bottom prevents any dirt from falling outside the shelf.

Read This If The Doors Won't CloseFeather R.Hey, y'all! I saw a few reviews that say that the doors won't close once the shoe rack is installed. The top shelf should sit backwards from the base shelf. If you look in the picture you can see that the rounded "bullnose" is on the front in the bottom shelf and in the back on the top shelf. I initially installed both shelves oriented the same way and the doors won't close. Once I reversed the top shelf to match the pictures, the shelf works great. Very happy these finally came back in stock!5

Shoe racksJANETI have waited for over a year for these shoes racks in white. Since they were never available my husbanded bought the gray ones just so we could finish our closet organizer. I’d still prefer white so that everything matches. But they are functional for now.3
You can't close PAX wardrobe doors if installedKate G.I waited ages for this to come back in stock - it finally did, I paid for it to be delivered for our entryway closet system (PAX) and only after install realized that you inexplicably cannot close the wardrobe doors once this is installed. They definitely need to state/ make this clear - I only knew I wasn't crazy by seeing other reviews here to that effect.1

Lesson learnedWhyyesIamarocketscientistFour stars because this just doesn’t look as nice as most of the other komplement accessories. There are gaps between pieces when assembled. It also doesn’t quite hold 3 pairs of my husbands’ size 11.5 work and tennis shoes across the bottom shelf without one shoe being askew, so it only holds 5 pairs of large shoes neatly. (Holds 3 pairs on the top OK because there’s no lip on the sides.) Lastly, I noticed other reviews saying the shelf doesn’t fit with doors. I had that problem, too, which confused me because I’d played with it in the store and didn’t have that problem. When I combed the instructions, I saw I’d put the top shelf on backwards. Very, very easy mistake because it’s opposite of the bottom shelf. Luckily, it could easily be fixed in place and now no problems. I share this info so that you can learn from my mistake and pay close attention to the picture in the last step of the instructions. ;-)4
