The lid creates a vacuum when placed on a container ‒ keeping the food fresh longer and helping the food retain both heat and coolness.
Wash the lid in the dishwasher and use it again and again, as this helps you reduce the amount of plastic and aluminum foil you use.
Can be used to protect from splatter in the oven and the microwave.

A versatile coverPatriciaThis lid fits on my Pyrex 9"x13" pan perfectly. I use it to temporarily cover casseroles that are baking in the oven as well as to keep my Rice Krispy bars from drying out. Everyone who has a 9"x13" pan would find this useful!
Excellent product and valueAnonymous reviewerI'm trying to use less waste (less plastic, less paper, less foil) and this is perfect. It covers and seals a 13x9 pan of brownies or leftover lasagna perfectly and is easy to clean. It's a bit pricy for IKEA but considering I'll be using a lot less aluminum foil it's worth the cost.
