I wouldn’t try setting anything really heavy on top and definitely don’t stand on it, but it can be sat upon and you can put stuff inside. Just what I needed.

Great Ottoman for the PriceDorothyI wanted a few footstools to place in front of my sectional couch. The Kjuge ottoman is a great value since it has storage space and can also be used for seating. I ordered the blue which is a very attractive color. Bonus feature: my grandchildren spaced them a few feet apart and stepped from one to the other in an impromptu "The Floor is Lava" game.
