Uncomfortable!Stepht33This couch looked great in my apartment, however was just so uncomfortable!!! Rock hard. Kept for 6 months- trying to break it in- never happened. Stayed so hard and so uncomfortable. Tried so hard to like it, to avoid the hassle of a return but ended up paying for return pickup. Took days to set up the return Bc getting ahold of customer service is a nightmare. got hung up on multiple times and disconnected plenty more. However, after finally confirming the return, the actual pick up was super fast and convenient. IKEA worker even mentioned this specific sectional is often returned for the same reason.2
It’s just okayEric the DudeThe good: Couch looks nice, is spacious, and is a solid build. The bad: it takes 4-6 hours to assemble. The ugly: One of the seat cushions had a torn zipper and we had to call customer service, where they could barely speak English. In the end we did get a replacement ordered, but it was a hassle. Summary: if I had to do all over I would probably spend a couple of hundred dollars more to get a couch from a higher quality manufacturer.3
Great!MelewGreat couch! Fast delivery! It does take time to put it together but well worth it. Don’t skip ahead on directions even if you think you know what you’re doing. A little confusing adding the side arms, assuming they connected through the chaise but only one part connects through the chaise. Pillows Rena durable and strong! Just received it so we shall see how hold up in my crazy house.5

IM OBSESSEDserenitywatsonI was a first time ikea buyer and this was my first purchase. I LOVE the couch. Color is a little off compared to the photos.. not sure why but photos look a little more white. Took about 2 hours to assemble (2 people) .. I’m totally obsessed with this sectional, I got the matching ottoman also. So spacious and comfy. However, the instructions are horrible. I knew going into this that ikea only does picture instructions but wow some things were hard to figure out but the finished product is beyond worth it!!! Totally recommend. Also something a should include cause I was unsure of myself, you can assemble the sectional however you like and put the chaise wherever you want which is a huge plus!5
Great couch, fun...to put togetherXaqueSo we bought the sectional version with the chaise with it. This is a very large couch and provides a lot of sitting room “for entertaining” . I love the couch it looks great and seems like it will hold up, but putting this together took a lot. The directions for assembly are a bit off as the couch show (sectional with the chaise) is not what you buy as a package deal. You buy a small sofa, a large sofa, a corner piece and a chaise. The instructions given are only to build each individual piece and not the whole sectional put together which is a surprise once you open everything. So be aware of that as you are going to be frustrated but happy when you figure it out. Overall the experience Is fun building your own couch but for the cost ($1400) pre built would have been fine.5
