Lamp shade design utter fail--do not purchase thisSharonThis lampshade design is simply awful. The plastic. and metal attachments to not stay in place and disengages from the rim. Lamp shade does not stay in formAnilLove the wood of the lamp. Issue I have is you have to fit the collapsed shade onto 2 rims (top and bottom). Even once you get that done, and set the shade in place, later it pops off the rim. How is anyone managing to get the shade to stay assembled?1

I was so pleasantly surprised with this lamp. It looks beautiful and great quality, and the price is fantastic. It really suits our mid century beach cottage. We just love it. I would definitely recommend this lamp. So easy to put together too.

I thought maybe it would look a bit old fashioned with the post design but it looks really nice in our space. The rounded design and natural wood grain is great, and with a 5W LED it casts a perfect soft light.
