By anchoring the chest of drawer to the wall, you unlock the safety feature and can open all the drawers simultaneously when needed.

Easy buildEmilyThis dresser was nice and easy to build. All the parts line up nicely. The completed dresser feels sturdy. I also changed out the knobs to brass, made the dresser look fancier.
Wonky drawersJordanEasy to assemble but the drawers don't seem to full pull out and it took us forever to realize you have to completely shut every drawer to open a new one. Definitely don't recommend for kids who don't always remember to completely close each drawer.
Would not buy againLeticiaSuper difficult to assemble and I think we’re missing screws. I live too far away from an ikea store to return so I’m very disappointed. Never had an issue with ikea before but unless you have an engineering degree, good luck.
Difficult AssemblyZacharyDo not buy this if you’re a beginner assembler, it is too advanced. Couldn’t get it correct and when I got it to a “finished” product the drawers did not work and kept falling. Overall a skip for me. Probably better suited for more advanced builders.
Just what I was looking forAngelaThe chests flank my king size sleigh bed perfectly. They were a pain to put together but worth it in the end. Would have been great if they had an outlet and USB port. But overall I'm very happy with my purchase and front door delivery was perfect!

Drawers Only Open Half WayAnonymousLike many (all?) other Ikea "redesigned" dressers, the drawers only open half way so you can't reach anything in the back of the drawer. Yes, everyone knows it's so they don't tip over, but why have the locking drawers if you are just going to limit how far they can open anyway? Ikea needs to figure out a better way to be compliant with the STURDY act without the half-opening cop out.
ImpressedIgaI’m never overlooking IKEA again. I was eyeing a dresser for much more that looks exactly the same. I decided to just get this one and change out the knobs. Looks 10x more expensive. I currently have it in the closet for extra storage but plan to redo my whole closet with IKEA. Very happy with the quality. I have nothing negative to say.
Do Not Buy Unless You Have Advanced SkillsChristineI have avoided buying an IKEA dresser for years because they are not easy to put together. This one was easy to put together but impossible to get the drawers to work. The item has to be screwed into the wall for safety, I get that, but if you don't have a handyman available it is absolutely impossible. Avoid if you do not have a drill and expertise. I tried dozens of times and I could not get the drawers to work.
Perfect for the closetPatriciaThis is good looking and fits the space. Great price for a chest that only lives in a closet. I’d give it 5 stars if the drawers felt a bit more substantial when they are pulled out, but all in all, this is perfect for what we needed.
DresserCarolynDresser is made very well and sturdy. Drawers slid easily. Being used in guest room so expecting it to last for some time. Wish the instructions were somewhat better but all of theirs are the same.
