Product Has ChangedRachelThe wooden pegs are no more. So not only is this product more flimsy, it is also more difficult to put together. I have purchased so many Expedit and Kallax products and never had an issue with the structural integrity or quality. Why change a good thing???1

Complete downturn in quality-- no longer wood pegsMarcusThe quality has taken a massive downturn as plastic and light screws have replaced the wooden pegs! This means wood glue can no longer be applied to bare surfaces for added strength. The application i was going to use these for is no longer possible with how structurally weak this new version is. So disappointed. I will have to source used copies of the previous version. :(1

Convinient mounting holes are already in place so there's no extra drilling needed. They are fairly lightweight, easy to assemble and sturdy5

I had looked into having a cabinet maker produce much the samed thing and found that the price would be in execess of $10,000 and possibly take months to deliver and ionstall.
