this is a good storage unitTiphanieit was easy to put together me and my son had them delivered I used e6000 glue on the dowels and screws to give them extra help to hold them together ( I use it on all Ikea products I have to put together) it took about 30 mins do one unit no problems all the parts were there. the base sits on the under frame and uses 4 little blocks the you add to the corner screws then you attach to the wall so it doesn't fall over, I got the 3 inserts with the extra shelf and the rest are the cube bins (4.99 each) my son picked out they have different designs on them some have safari animals with a yellow background and some have meerkats with trees on a white background and a few were just plain black I got this kallax unit for my clothes as my old dresser died and it seems to work nicely my son would like to add pulls to the bins but im not sure if that can be done. yes I would buy again - thinking about getting one to put my tv on

Beautiful Anonymous reviewerFirst time getting high gloss white. Use caution when “hammering” the dowels. Use a rubber mallet, not a hammer. Shelf edge may chip if you “miss” the dowel. (We chipped the shelf edge in one spot on each of the 2 units.) Love the underframe.

Books are happy nowAliceI don’t have a lot of books since I’m minimizing stuff but enough that I needed a bookcase. This fits and I got the wicker baskets to put in the bottom shelves. Great delivery. And it looks nice in my living room. I got the one with legs because it looks better with my decor. Highly recommend
