Beautiful Anonymous reviewerFirst time getting high gloss white. Use caution when “hammering” the dowels. Use a rubber mallet, not a hammer. Shelf edge may chip if you “miss” the dowel. (We chipped the shelf edge in one spot on each of the 2 units.) Love the underframe.

Books are happy nowAliceI don’t have a lot of books since I’m minimizing stuff but enough that I needed a bookcase. This fits and I got the wicker baskets to put in the bottom shelves. Great delivery. And it looks nice in my living room. I got the one with legs because it looks better with my decor. Highly recommend

KallaxGloriaSo sad not to have my Expedit as an option. These are ok but the others were far superior (I had them over a decade and 3 major moves). My recommendation is based sadly on the fact that there is no longer the previous version.
The base is a good option to have however it is waaay too tall.
