Kallax CubbiesDebbieI bought this for my office to help organize. I did buy the boxes that fit in it just to make it look a cleaner. It not only looks really nice but I have been so surprised how much can go in it. Very functional. I think I will get another one that’s 2 or 3 shelves across for the closet. WobblyMelI can agree with the other reviews that they look nice! But extremely wobbly they are not the same as the older version. They feel lighter and even cheaper than before. Be careful when hammering I dented a few spots due to the poor quality. But overall a little disappointed on how they made the materials.

For yarn storage, it’s the best—the bins which fit the kallax cubes keep yarn from dust and when the yarn is bagged as well, from pests. I now have these units in the 2x4 and 4x4 sizes all over my house and I unfailingly recommend them to everyone!

Great organizerJaneEasy enough for 1 person to assemble, I bought this to organize my sewing room closet. I put baskets in each cubbyhole, separating my scrap fabric by colors. It’s much more efficient for me than shelves plus when I move, the closet returns to it’s hanging function and I keep my storage for yet another space.
NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BEErin AlexandraI have been using these Kallax units for decades and was excited to purchase another to match the one I have, intending to line them up together and extend my storage wall. I also spent a fortune on the very costly inserts and delivery! Not only have the measurements changed so the units are not level with each other, the material is also not the same. This frame is substantially lighter and comparable to less expensive versions you can purchase on Amazon or Target. Worse, I struggled to begin the build because the DOWELS DO NOT FIT into the holes that connect the shelves to the outside frame. They were 1/2” too long so I was forced to manually cut down the dowels to make it work. I had the same problem at the other end on the periphery as well. When finished , it felt cheap and flimsy, and I was immensely disappointed, especially when it did not align with my original, quality Kallax that I love and adore. Now I’m stuck with this new one and forced to buy another to match. Sad.

We love this KallaxBarryWe purchased two of these units. One to hold wine in our pantry and another to use as a room divider to separate our living room from the office area. Both shelf units work perfectly. The room divider has not only made the rooms look larger (I don't know how, but it has), but it adds a modern touch to everything. An added bonus is that our cats love to rest on the shelves or on the top so we've got a functional piece of furniture and a cat tower :)

Do NOT buy it for storage！It is unstable and has high risks of fall apart！SamThe designer knows nothing about design. If you would use it as furniture please avoid at all cost，because it is dangerous! All stabilizing points within the main parts are only secured by dowel pins and no extra stabilizations are applied. Most of the amazon furnitures even have screws to provide extra stabilization, but this. We tested the rigidity of dowel pins and it gets damaged easily. If you have basic understanding of physics，you would know how hard wood could support the whole structure compared with metals. When installed，we find the structure is just as we concerned that has no solidity，which might swing when a little pressure is applied. We are scared to use it as storage. For your safety，please do not buy it. Ikea should not allow such defect product in stock and makes me question about their product quality.
Beautful Addition to Living RoomRachellI purchased to sit on top of an electric fireplace tv stand with cabinets for additional book and knick-knack display. It fit perfectly and give me an elevated look that goes almost all the way to my ceiling sitting on top of the TV cabinet. It was easy to put together but definitely had to have a friend help me pick it up to move it into place. Very attractive and adds lots of deep storage.
Not just a bookcaseMeganLove this shelf unit. We use it to store our ever growing collection of board games. We have added a couple of drawer inserts for smaller games. Looks very neat and organized.

These are great!MikeI've purchased a couple different configurations of these and they are great. You can customize them for having small drawers, or boxes, or just empty so stack stuff in. I use them for stacks of clothes in the bedroom, and books and knickknacks in the office.
