Ummm? Lockable?LynnetteCan’t you just pull out the entire insert and reaching inside? What good does the lock do?
Easy to breakSylviaThis door breaks so easily I do not recommend this at all. Bought 12 of them, 7 of them broke already within 3 months. The frame support is not sturdy enough and leveling while installing wasn’t easy either.
Kallax lockable doorEugeneDoes exactly what we needed to keep things away from curious grandchildren!
Hard to unlock and openJingyangThese are a great idea, however they could benefit from a small door knob like the one on the kallax drawers. Otherwise, you have to kind of tilt the key in the keyhole awkwardly to get enough friction to open. Also, the keys about 1/3 of the time don’t go smoothly into the lock which is disappointing.

Good storage for wine and liquorMollieI have teenagers and their friends in the house, so I wanted to lock up the booze (just in case). These all tall enough to store liquor bottles and wine. It's not Fort Knox, but it is a deterrent. I just installed them so I can't speak to durability - time will tell.
