Cheap look and feel; save your moneyGregBought a couple of these to use on my Kallax cabinet. I assembled them and ended up just throwing them away. Chipboard is super cheap, doesn't hold its shape and actually felt like it dragged down the cabinet's aesthetic. I was really hoping for a solid door option for the cabinet, but will be looking elsewhere for that.
Do not purchaseJessicaI love IKEA furniture and was super happy when I saw these because I wanted to change up my shelves. Unfortunately, these and the ones that have 2 drawers do not sit properly within each “square” and it’s beyond frustrating because now I have holes in my shelves and now I have to return 4 products. This has been the worst purchase ever :(

Not 13x13MichelleIf they had the exact dimensions as 13.25, I would not have purchased this!!! Not one measurement on all the drawers and doors I purchased measured at exactly 13 inches. Now, I have to return them after spending $19 for shipping. Very upsetting!
Needs better mountingJenniferThe quality of the door and hinges are great. Having used European hinges and knowing how they work I could figure out how to adjust the door for straight lines. There needs to be more support in the Kallax unit itself to mount the doors to. The door that we don't use often is fine. The ones that we use on a daily/weekly basis have ripped out on the hinge side.
I saw in another review that they used to be an insert that slid in as a unit. I actually like that idea as you could rearrange how the Kallax looks without having to drill into the unit.
Changed for the worseSandraIKEA used to have the perfect box inserts for the older version of the Kallax—sturdy, well-structured, and easy to move around. Now they've replaced them with flimsy inserts that need to be screwed into the unit. They look cheap and can't be repositioned. I’ll be returning mine. Really wish they’d bring back the old system.

Not worth it, just get containersAmandaThe reviews are right. The screws are too short so the door doesn’t stay on and they don’t even line up. It is a waste. Just buy containers that go in and out of the shelves.
Color is completely different than website VictoriaI love the ease of adding these doors on my current Kallax unit. However, the color is much darker than my Kallax unit and the website photos. The numbers all match up so I guess at some point the color changed but the website is not updated?Since I don't drive I cannot go do a color comparison. I took photos for customer service but the number on the box matches so I'm told this white oak is the white oak I received. Even tho the photo clearly shows the difference. Debating on return.
These doors are crapDanielThe hardware with these doors are crap!! The bolt to center the door strips easily!!! Do better IKEA!!!!
Ruin Your Kallax LisaInserts are cheap and the hinges are a nightmare to tighten to functionality. The screws are no help and not what’s needed length wise. My door keeps falling off - not safe, not good, not happy! Once you drill there’s no going back and you’ve ruined the look of your Kallax! Also, the insert takes up too much space so trying to get a cube back in is impossible unless you totally remove the door! Waste of my time and money! Don’t recommend!
Useful addition to the Kallax shelvesMaureenThese doors fit in perfectly, blend with the color (light oak) and effectively hide the clutter behind them. Looks sharp!
Poor door designLindsayThese Kallax doors are so difficult to accurately line up so the hinges allow the door to easily open and close. We worked several hours to get 3 out of 4 doors to work and ended up just not using the door for the 4th door.
Bad HingesJeremyThis fit and looks fine, but it was nearly impossible to adjust the hinges - the adjustment screw did not turn with any screwdriver: I had to use a set of pliers to turn it, which took about 10 minutes for each hinge.
