The worst smart bulb on the marketDouglasIf I could give this negative stars, I would. I've spent 6 hours trying to get this stupid bulb to connect to anything: Dirigera, an Aqara hub, literally anything. And EVERY SINGLE TIME it can't connect. Largest waste of money I've ever spent. I'm returning all 10 bulbs I bought tomorrow and I'm not going to feel bad about it. Make better products.1
Extremely wide beam and ugly whites below 2700kDavidThe beam angle on these bulbs is very wide, resulting in a wash of dim light instead of a proper spotlight accent (why is it not listed in the product specifications?). The bulbs also don't handle whites below 2700k properly, instead rendering extremely ugly yellow tones in the evening when using HomeKit adaptive lighting. I think they should have kept the pricing of the previous models to keep the better LEDs. All the whites have an unpleasant cast. It's cheaper than almost every other matter over thread smart bulb, but I don't think the trade offs they made were worth it.3
Flood light not spot light. WayneThe light easily connected to Apple Home with Matter. However, the light is a flood light compared to the Tradfri GU10. I wanted a replacement to the older lights. I have a Tradfri GU10 next to this Kajplats GU10 and it’s definitely a different quality of light. The Tradfri produces a tighter beam pattern with less fall off. The Kajplats floods the whole area with light making it difficult to aim. It’s almost like I installed a normal bulb and not a reflector bulb. 3
