The chair cover comes in one piece and secures in place with hook-and-loop fasteners so you can easily remove it and put it back on again.

Worked fine..for a few monthsSarahAfter a few months, started to make a lot of noise (creaking, squeaking) with any slight movement. Will be replacing it only a year after buying it.
Didn't meet my exprctationsAlexanderAbout ten years ago, we bought two similar kitchen table chairs from IKEA. They were very comfortable, and we loved them. Over time, the cushions on the seats lost their firmness, which is understandable considering the users' weight, 200 pounds. So, I did some research and realized that nobody offers chairs of this kind except IKEA. The chairs were purchased under the assumption (which was wrong, and this is my fault) that I was buying the same product I had bought in the past. After unpacking, I realized that they are much lighter, smaller, and not as soft as the ones we had, wanted, and expected. Anyway, I assembled one chair and found that this product is much less comfortable than the old one. I bought these chairs online and would like to return or replace at least the unpacked one.

This chair was tiny and I even took its measurements to compare to another ikea chair I have. It’s childlike size. And uncomfortable. When my grandson sat on it he could feel the sharp wood through the seat cover, on the corners of the chair, against his leg. It’s as if there’s no seat cushion at all.
He stopped using this chair, he goes straight for the hendriksal chair I still have.

When I found it again on the site (my own mistake), I was relieved and bought it right away. The chairs were super-easy to assemble. I'm sure there are fancier sets that are more expensive, but this was exactly in my budget and looks great in my nook.

Looks greatMelissaHas the exact look I wanted, but there wasn't one available in the showroom to check out beforehand. I discovered they are slightly slimmer and lighter weight than I thought, which works fine for me. If you use the chair heavily it will probably wear out pretty quickly. It is really great that you can remove and wash the cover though.
