One thing to note is to be mindful to be gentle with your flathead screwdriver when fastening the bottom screws so you don't damage the plastic material.5
Not metalHilaI saw this cart displayed up on a shelf with the metal rolling carts. I assumed it was metal. Was disappointed when I got it home and found out it was plastic. I built it anyway, but it didn’t feel as sturdy as I had hoped. I returned it.2

I have an adjustable bed base where the Head and/or the Foot of the bed can rise up & down remotely. In some upper positions I am UNABLE to reach my regular nightstand for my water or tissue or other beside items. THIS cart rolls smoothly so its easily moved around. It is small so look at the measurement on the cart before ordering. Works so well for me that I will buy MORE if the FREE SHIPPING returns. A piece of junkCathyBought this and it literally fell apart during assembly! The thin metal rod inside plastic legs came out preventing legs from fitting in the shelves! Quality of IKEA has completely gone!1
