Office chair?AleksandrNow I have 180 days, or until my lower back gives out, to find a proper chair. For that purpose, and for understanding what an office chair absolutely should not be, this product is fine.
Wheels lock when not under load. Just pulling it out from the desk already sets the stage for all the pain you're about to endure. Seat depth is adjustable from ridiculously short to just short. Backrest locks in three positions or turns into a trebuchet when unlocked. Wobbly plastic handrests complement the luxury leather seat with a certain ironic flair.
Seat, headrest, and lumbar support slightly softer than Swedish pine and shaped with ergonomic of a rockslide. No actual human being was meant to sit in this contraption for any meaningful length of time.
In the US it is $399, in Canada $240 (329 CAD); in Australia $227 (349 AUD); in Germany $348 (299 EUR).
Price difference alone is insulting - but depending on where you are, the chair might barely justify its cost. In the US, absolutely not.

I have sharp tailbone pain after sitting in this chair and I have never actually had pain from sitting in any other chair. The armrests are rock hard and they are way too far apart. They are also very wobbly. The lumbar support just pokes you in the back. The auto locking wheels are more annoying than anything else. The headrest and adjustable arm length is way too loose and moves around constantly. This chair is truly a terrible product. The only positives are the way it looks I guess and the fact that the seat is real leather. Going back to Ikea for a refund 100%.
Very Comfortable and sturdy IsaiahI have had it for 4 years and it's still as comfortable and sturdy as day 1. Usually I don't do a review but I was shocked to see this good chair gets a low rating. For me, it was money well spent.

Decent RafaelI’ve had this chair for over 2 years now. The back has been fairly comfortable and the seat was great at first. Over time the seat cushion has flattened significantly and lost its comfort. I am 6’2” and unfortunately the lumbar support is just under my lumbar so it sits more on my lower back. The lumbar support is not a huge deal breaker but I am now looking for another chair due to the seat cushion going. There are definitely way more expensive chairs but for the money they’re are some other options. Still not a horrible chairs.

Tall back chair-Nice for 6'7"SharonI'm 6' 7" tall and no other chair back goes up to my head! The big & tall focuses on the 'big'. Downside is the seat is smaller than average chair. The seat will slide forward as though it's providing extra thigh (tall have 36" leg) support but fully forward is still not enough upper leg support. My old chair which didn't have the back height had a fuller seat that came further forward to support my thighs (this still wasn't enough). When I saw this chair seat slid forward, I thought I would get more support than the old chair but I got less. I'm keeping it for the back height. I would love them to make a new model with a sea that starts in the extended position and extends to support the top half of a 36" leg. I thought people from Sweden were tall. I expected an all over tall chair. It was $100.00 more than it should have been

Terrible Chair - DONT BUYKeniaThe chair lasted for only one year, which was quite disappointing. One of the major issues with the chair was the seat, which was extremely rigid and uncomfortable. Even after sitting on it for a short period of time, I would experience discomfort and start shifting in my seat to find a more comfortable position. Another major issue was the lack of proper back support. The backrest was not adjustable and did not provide adequate support for my posture. As a result, I started experiencing back problems after prolonged use of the chair.
Overall, I would not recommend this chair to anyone looking for a comfortable and supportive seating option. Instead, I would suggest investing in a chair that offers proper ergonomics, adjustable components, and support for posture to avoid any discomfort or long-term health problems.

Takes Getting Used ToAnneDefinitely takes getting used to this chair. The seat is not that cushiony, which means you can't be sitting on it for long periods of time. It takes a few days to figure out all the chair settings for your exact comfort level. Once you get it to the perfect setting then the chair starts working for you. I've had the chair for a week now, and it's getting more comfortable, but still not to my liking. As for the chair itself, I purchased the white which is clean and modern looking. Since the product is out of box and assembled (which is easy to do), I've got up to 180 days to return it, if needed.
Only lasted a yearTimI use this chair everyday for work. I loved the chair, however after about a year the seat cushion was like sitting on a rock. I am curious if I can return it for at the very least store credit as I do still have the receipt. But at this price range, I should have just got the staples hyken. Very disappointed. If you use your chair for work, then I would advise against this as that seems like too much use of the chair. I imagine it's made for your "check your email in the morning" and that's it kind of office people. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it for daily full time office use.

It's surprising how good the lumbar support is bc you dont even notice it working... until u sit in a chair that doesn't have it, like what happened to me today. I love that I can adjust many features to my particular body. The biggest thing about this chair is that I can actually have my knees at the edge of the chair, sitting in a normal position & my back will actually touch the back of the chair. I feel many people are used to having a lot of space between their back and the actual back of the chair & that's not the case here. It just fits you with no extra space, which to me, as a woman with short legs is fabulous. I had tried so many chairs before this one; none were 1/2 as good fitting or as comfortable as this one is, & I spend more than 7 hours a day in it for work! Of course after 9+ hours sitting, no chair will feel good to your body & to me that means it's time to take a walk. But don't blame the chair. I love it!

SUPER COMFY AND I CAN CROSS MY LEGSSehoonHaving used the Markus for over 5 years, I have more appreciation for this chair. I loved the Markus but this chair is superior in many ways. I can literally cross my legs as if I am meditating. I can also adjust the side armrest to perfectly support my arms for meditation. The lumbar and neck adjustment is amazing. The seat sliding back and forth also helps immensly. If I want comfort I like the seat forward and long. If I want to move around I like the seat back and short. I really love this chair.
Okay comfort, horrible wheelsKathrynWhen I sat in the chairs at the store, I spent quite a bit of time in each, and found this was most comfortable. Long term, though, it’s only okay. The biggest issue I have is how incredibly horrible the wheels are. They just completely don’t roll. I even got replacements for them, but they just didn’t work. I definitely recommend ordering rollerblade style wheels to replace the ones that come with it. It was fairly easy to assemble, but I used to work somewhere that we had to assemble office chairs constantly. The arms also don’t lock into place so sometimes they shift with slight pressure from my arm or the desk.
