These lamps can be both general lights and reading lights and can be switched on and off separately.
The uplighter spreads a pleasant light that illuminates the entire room.
You can easily direct the light of the reading lamp where you want it since both the arm and the head are adjustable.
You never have to change a light bulb as this lamp has LED light sources built right into it.
Using LED as a light source means that it not only lasts 20 times longer than an incandescent bulb, but consumes up to 85% less energy.
By dimming the lighting, you change the mood in the room.

LED module stoped working within yearNikaAmazing light when it worked. The top LED array stopped working within a year so outside the warranty window. Haven’t been able to find an array that may work to replace it for under $50.

a good value lightStuartThis floor lamp gives off a lot of illumination for low power usage. It's sturdy and robust. However, only the larger lamp has a dimmer. It would have been nice for both to have dimmers. Also, its a pity it doesn't have remote control.

Upon taking it out and attaching again, it is working again. I think I would keep it as rest of it is nice and hope this will not be an issue anymore. Probably will not get another one though.

Love the functionality, buuutDaniSo this is a great lamp. I bought it twice and have had no issues with it. I was literally here to buy two more lamps and some replacement bulbs because at some point it will be needed — only to find that ikea doesn’t have a way to replace the bulb. What?? Who thought that was a good idea for a lamp? So I won’t be buying more of these lamps even though I genuinely love them. They don’t take up a lot of real estate, give off plenty of light when needed, and are very adjustable if you want something directed or dimmer. Please make the bulb replaceable IKEA, thank you.
Reading lamp failureGaryWas great for 8 months until the reading lamp began to flicker. Now it is completely dead. It has been a total waste of $100 if there is no way to replace the bulb. I expect more from IKEA.
