The comfy upholstered seat makes the chair perfect for long dinners and game nights with the family.

The light beige, cotton/polyester blend chair seat fabric is soft to the touch, plus it is easy to keep clean and fresh since it is removable and washable.

The sturdy solid wood frame is painted in a fresh white color to brighten up on any gloomy day.

The cover is removable and can be machine washed.

Available in different colors, with or without padded seat in INGOLF chair series, so you can easily find one, or several, that fit your taste.

Not A Long Term InvestmentNicholasWe had ordered four of these chairs about three years ago, as of this writing one has already been disassembled as the factory fabricated leg joints were coming undone making the chair unsafe to use. Within a year of purchase the bars in the back brace had already broken on three of the chairs. Currently another of the chairs has its leg joints beginning to loosen as well and it will probably have to be disassembled before the year is over. This is all under minor usage. The chairs are comfortable and a good purchase if you are only looking for a short term solution. Don't expect them to last beyond a couple of years though.2
Back support broke within 2 months, legs coming apart. Not worth it for the money!ZahidThese chairs look and feel really good but they are made of brittle wood. The back support broke within 2 months and 2 months later the legs are coming apart. For $95 ikea should use a better quality of wood. I wish I can return all of them. Don't buy these. 1

The Perfect Dining ChairJenThis is a great go-to dining chair if you want a stylish chair for a low price. I highly suggest the INGOLF with the padded seat. It is literally more comfortable than other padded chairs that IKEA sells. The back is comfortable, too. I sit at this chair for hours doing work at the dining table. Highly suggested. 5

They do not last longDarlenePurchased 6 chairs. First one broke 3 months in. Second one broke 5 months in. Now three of them are broken, we have owned them for one year and are about to sell those that are still whole and curb the broken ones. I will never buy furniture from IKEA again.1

It broke quickly (had for a year, but hardly used @ vacay home) probably was literally sat in a total of 5 times over the year. The back of seat wood is very thin (the "x" part) and poorly made unlike the older model of the stool.2

Nice chairMichaelThis is a dining chair that is comfortable and attractive. Only draw back is that the fabric seat is not easily cleaned. First time a grandchild visited it was spilled on. The spot didn't come up with blotting and wiping. I think I will recover them with a more durable fabric.4

Poorly MadeRichardDo not buy these chairs. We bought the table and chairs set a little over a year ago. The in-store representative that took our order was extremely rude to begin with, but we went ahead and made the purchase anyway because Ikea had decent quality furniture in the past. Apparently this company has gone quite downhill in the past couple of decades. Stains do not easily come out of the material, even with stain removal products, but the worst issue is the fact that pieces break off very easily. We bought eight chairs and two of them have broken legs and can no longer be used. The wooden slats that make up the backs of most of our chairs have pieces that have snapped off. I looked up the chairs, thinking I would order two more to replace the ones that can no longer be used, but at the price they're listed for, it's definitely not worth it. Will not be buying from this company again.1

What is foam?

Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.
