Love this stool but there are some flawsMelThis is a really neat and fun design HOWEVER the design execution needs a revision. The top and base are just gluelam pieces. This is fine on a butcher block but does not work with this design. The stools have a very tiny wobble to them because of the tooth design and this caused the glued section to break within 5 minutes of assembly. It completely broke the bottom base after the first kid sat on it. I could biscuit joint them together and repair them but it will probably break on another seam shortly after. The second one I assembled did the same. These are strictly decorative in my opinion and so for seventy dollars each each all four I bought are getting returned. Not happy that I need to make a 3 hour round trip drive to return but we'll make a day of it. Cool design but not a lasting/functional piece of furniture.
