The seat has two individually inflatable air chambers, one in the middle and one around it, so you can create the exact firmness and seating comfort you want.
You can easily fill it with air by using the included pump.
When it's time for a refresh, the cover is easy to remove and machine wash.

GREAT ACCENT CHAIRChantalThis chair was so trending I was doubting getting it I wanted to add a pop of color to my rental apartment while also creating extra seating that wouldn’t obstruct circulation or make the room feel crowded. Its low-profile design works perfectly for that purpose.
The only challenge was figuring out how firm I wanted it to be. If you overinflate it, closing the zipper can be difficult. I was worried about breaking the zippers, but they are surprisingly heavy-duty and held up well.
One tip: make sure to push the air valve plug in as tightly as possible. If it’s not fully secured, it can pop out and slowly deflate—which can be a little embarrassing when you have guests over!
Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase. It’s fun, functional, comfortable, and adds personality to the room. My only wish is that IKEA would release additional cover options in different colors and patterns. The chair has so much potential for customization, and interchangeable covers would make it even better.

Zipper Breaks easily + Chrome is cheapAlexUnfortunately I wish this review was better but I bought one of these in person on the first day… I was excited but got home and that all went downhill. The chrome on the main frame part had a large indention/blemish scuff. Later I discovered more on the loops around the seat back. The back of the seat part cover also wouldn’t stay closed even when under inflating it. I filed to get part replacement and they had to close the case for now because there’s no inventory. Now I’m stuck with a damaged chair and my IKEA and region don’t seem to get inventory when everyone else does. I still love the look of the chair from afar but I really need to get this fixed and IKEA doesn’t seem to be of much help
