Like it but it can be a fire hazardElizabethI do like these magnetic trivets, but unfortunately my husband put a large frying pan on top of it on the counter and then put it on the burner on Thanksgiving day since the pan was much larger than the trivet and he didn't see it. This caused the trivet material to melt on my Le Creuset skillet and stove and also creating toxic gases and smoke in our kitchen. Not good and definitely a health and fire hazard.
Great trivet for lots of potsJannettFor someone who cannot carry too many things in both hands, this is a life saver! Pots or oven tray got transferred quickly from stove to table and back easily. I got two a few years ago, they were great, unfortunately I couldn’t find it in IKEA for a while, I am so happy to find out they carry it again that I can order on-line, the quality is the same as a few years back! I am going to order some more for presents to my family!
Started kitchen fire NinaI forgot this magnet trivet was still attached to my baking sheet and I put it in the oven. It unstuck and fell on the heating element and stated a fire. Do not recommend as it’s hard to see it on larger items.

The best, functional, and pricey coaster out there! Rashmi$15 (in-store) for one is very pricey (worse online at $23)!! Hope they price it a little more reasonably.
That said, have had one for 20+ yrs. Was looking to buy more for 5 yrs, but somehow couldn't find it during my visits to Ikea. Finally, found it this time and grabbed 4 of them.

Love these heavy duty magnetic trivetsRunaThey are very sturdy and great heat protectors. Love the colors -red one side, grey on the other. These tear drop shaped magnetic trivets will stick to the bottom of your metal pans, and you can easily move the pan from the countertop to a table. These trivets are bit pricey.

MagneticDawnI got this to put under the pot I use to make truffle filling. Cuz it goes directly in the pot into the fridge. Now my shelves are protected from the heat, but it stays attached if I need to move it around in the fridge!
Great concept!SylviaWhat a great concept! We only use cast iron cookware and this works wonderful with it. There's no sliding and we can stick them to the bottom of the pot right from the stove. Can't beat the price! For storage, we use the side of the refrigerator, which is next to the stove.

Perfect TrivetTeresaI love the thickness of these trivets. Perfect for my countertops and they are magnetic so they stick with each other! :). Be aware that they do adhere to the bottom of your pan so be careful not to place your pan back on the burner before removing. You can position them side by side also to make a larger one. I have 4 of these and perfect for larger pans.

Follows the pot when you move it
IKEA 365+ GUNSTIG has built-in magnets so when you move the pot, the pot stand follows too. It sticks to all cookware with a magnetic base (in other words, cookware you can use on an induction cooktop). It is made of silicone, so it withstands hot pans (320°F) without the slightest problem.
