Beautiful and functional LizI enjoyed building this piece until I twisted the plastic part in building the drawer. The plastic screw held by the metal nut shirred off and now I need to find a replacement screw. I am flummoxed by how to order those two pieces. Help. I love my nightstands otherwise.

Sturdy but not so easy to assembleJessicaOnce I assembled this bedside table, I was impressed with the quality of the materials and the utility of the design. Getting it assembled, however, proved challenging because of new methods (or at least new to me, a frequent customer of IKEA) of joining piece together. Additionally, getting the pieces lined up so that the back panel can slide in would be easier if the instructions were not so cryptic and a few more steps were added.
Perfect fit nightstand KimberleyWe needed nightstands to go with our black metal king bed in a guest room but the spaces were very narrow. This nightstand fits perfectly on both sides and makes the room look so much better.
My favorite IKEA purchase!MollyI have bought and assembled four of these nightstands. They are by far my favorite IKEA purchases ever. All the panels are of great quality and the finish is perfection. Assembly feels solid and the outer shell is a breeze. Getting the drawer in can be a bit tricky as you need to slide it back onto a horizontal pin and then drop the front down onto a vertical pin but with a bit of patience it can be done. Ultimately a great buy!

Night standsNoreenBoth my husband and I have Cpap machines and I wanted something I could put the machines on in a way to be able to have a lamp and water on the top. The machines slide right into the slot, the tube goes through the cut out. I still have a surface for a glass and lamp and can put books or a notepad in the drawer. They look nice and went together pretty well. The back slots had to be worked with as the slots didn’t line up quite right. Overall happy with the size and function.

What is fibreboard?
Fiberboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fiberboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.
