Overall satisfied but one small issueJonathanJust bought and assembled this bed. Overall I’m very satisfied with the look and sturdiness. One small but pretty annoying detail is that not enough little screws to mount the drawer rails were included. Had to go out to Lowe’s and pick up some substitute. So my advice would be to buy some extras if you can. They’re short one with a flat Phillips top, #12 thickness by about 3/8” long. I was missing the whole set for 2 out of the 4 drawers, 20 screws in total. My other advice to anyone buying this bed is have some patience, the assembly takes a little time. But otherwise I’m happy. It’s a solid bed, no wobbles. I added some stick on rubber feet on top of the packaged plastic ones to avoid sliding.
Solid bedBlakeThis bed has been disassembled and moved twice and has still held up for 3 years now. It is a bit of a hassle to clean the headboard because of the design. The drawers hover above the floor which is very nice and allows for air flow under the bed. A side effect of this, as one other reviewer mentioned, is that cats do love sneaking into the drawers since they have access. Also, I believe the price was not nearly as high when I purchased it years ago. Still an all around bed frame and if you can afford it, I would recommend buying.
What the actual heck!!!!EstherWe purchased this bed and assembly was easy. HOWEVER, this bed DOES NOT COME WITH the slats that hold the mattress up!!!!!!!!!!!! The instructions SHOW the picture of the slats but it does not come with it! The mattress falls through so you can't smoothly open the drawers underneth. We contacted IKEA and they were the ones that told us it did not come with the slats.........WHAT??? So, now we are left with having to build some to custom fit! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

misleading installation. bed frame makes mattress very highLiesbethHi all! I had fun making this bed but had trouble with the instructions/construction. There are two options on my full for mattress depth (a high and low option). I spent a lot of time matching the low mid beam with the low side rails and found they don't match. On my bed you had to match the low setting for the center beam and high options for the side rails. So there's only one height option. I kept installing and reinstalling. It took forever. ? the head and foot boards have the predrilled holes in the wrong place? To save you the same trouble, confirm the height from the floor of the different holes so won't have to do it over and over.
Also, I'm short and the included large Lugar bedframe raises the mattress height significantly. I returned it and plan to get the bed slats (even though they have terrible reviews). Sigh.
Don’t get if you have catsBrennaThis is a nice idea but since the backs of the drawers are so short we cannot actually store anything in the drawers the cats continuously squeeze their way into the drawers through the center of the bed and everything is covered in fur.
Will be getting rid of this bed as soon as we determine what we are replacing it with

Good solid bed with tons of storage KirstenAssembly was reasonably straightforward. Found some videos on YouTube that helped clarify the more ambiguous illustrations. The bed is nice and sturdy and the drawers hold more than the under bed storage boxes we were using before. I like the height of the bed and the classic style. It works well with our existing furniture.
My only complaint is about the open underside. It allows our cats to squeeze under and get into the drawers. Not a deal breaker, but definitely a mild inconvenience.

Great, sturdy bedLaurelJust put this king size bed together today, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as expected (after reading some of the other reviews). It’s well constructed, solid, sturdy, and heavy. Feels and looks more expensive than it is and provides amazing support for my mattress—I could feel the difference immediately. The storage drawers are a really nice cherry on top, as they hold a lot and are smooth to open and close.

Some assembly screw holes were located in very hard knot-wood - threaded screw-in posts could not be driven into them. One of the storage drawers hangs just a bit crooked; drawer still very functional. Drawers near head of bed bump into any nightstand set beside the bed. Still, very functional bed for very good price.
Just boughtElizabethSeems great so far. We are confused though because it didn’t come with slats to support the mattress. If you don’t use a boxspring, do you have to buy the slats separately? The pictures show the slats so we thought they came with the bed. Love the quality and drawers so far!

Excellent bedShannonBought this for my daughter. Excellent bed. Good size drawers for storage, love that they are soft close. Went together easily, but requires two people for a couple steps. No squeaks or noises when moving in bed.
Queen size IdanasSharonHappy with the result. Assembly is complex. We accidentally used long screws and drilled thru head board. I will patch that and paint over it but it is hidden since up against a wall. The bed is very sturdy and comfortable. The drawers work fine and hold a lot.
