Doesn't fit what I needAnn-MarieI love the bed frame itself. I had a queen for a few years and we upgraded our bed to a split king. Unfortunately, this frame doesn't work properly for our split king adjustable bed the right way. We had to adjust the frame for it to work. 3
Save your moneySThis bed was a total pain to put together. The dowels didn't match up with some of the holes, and some of the dowels broke. The headboard separated from the post within 3 months of purchase. It looks nice but the materials were cheap which made the bed unstable. 2
Poor DesignAnonymousWe bought this bed frame (King) about 2.5 years ago. After about a year the front leg started separating from the rest of the frame. Turns out this piece is only held together by dowels and wood glue and not very well. The whole leg just about feel off; thankfully not while we were sleeping. We had a friend help us glue it back together but ultimately it's a pretty poor design that doesn't seem to hold up. We are now looking to replace the bed frame and as much as I love the look of it I would not by another of this model.2

Great bed, but what a pain to put together LauraThis bed is absolutely beautiful and holds our mattress perfectly. I swear though each IKEA project becomes just that, a huge project. Some of the slats didn’t fit right and we had to pound them in with a mallet to secure. It’s almost like there is a malfunction when the machine cuts the parts or something. Nice bed frame - difficult to assembleRebekahThis is a very nice bed frame - exactly what I was looking for. But plan for extra time and frustration when trying to assemble this bed. The instructions make it seem simple enough. Don”t be fooled - assembling this bed is anything but simple. And you absolutely need 2 people to complete certain steps. But once finished, it’s well worth the effort.4

I like the paint finish (all white, no streaks) and appreciate the higher feet that make vacuuming under bed so easy. If you cannot decide, just go for the Idanâs bedroom series. Short length cost me to make it workJohnI didn't know until the bed was laboriously assembled that IKEA beds are made to be shorter than standard US mattress sizes. When I put the queen mattress I already had in, it barely squeezed in. There was no room to put a fitted sheet on it or otherwise make the bed. I had no choice but to have a custom mattress made, which then is slightly smaller than a standard sheet set. In the end I am happy with it because it is a beautiful bed and I don't need the 3.5 inches I lost from the new mattress, but IKEA should make it very clear before purchase that their beds will not fit a standard US length.4
