Doesn’t Wash CleanRmThis comforter is too thick. I have a commercial Speed Queen washing machine and the comforter has to be pushed in in order to close the door. I washed it, put it in dryer, took it out and it was stained. The only thing that had been spilled on it was a small amount of cola and I’d sprayed that spot with stain remover before washing. I’ve never, ever had a comforter that didn’t come clean in the wash before. I’ve never owned anything that couldn’t get rid of a small spot of soda that was pre-treated. 2
Great comforter setTracyFor the price, you won’t find a better comforter set. I washed it as soon as it arrived in our front load washing machine and had no issues with integrity of the fabric or the seams. The texture of the outer material is about what you’d expect for a cotton lyocell blend - it isn’t scratchy like some cotton fabrics, but it’s also not super soft like pure lyocell. The comforter itself is super fluffy. I did find it to be somewhat on the warmer side, but I am also the kind of person that sleeps with a fan on and their window open a little even when it’s 10 degrees (f) outside. My cats also approved of the comforter so, do what you will with that information. 5

However, after the first wash, I noticed most of the white threads holding the comforter together had torn out, leaving dozens of little holes. How much I love the comforter just serves to make it all the more disappointing that I will have to return it1
