Looks greatCharliThe wheels are SO stiff that it is hard to use3
Good basic chair for the priceKaraThis is a decent chair for the price. The seat padding is not amazing, but if you buy a memory foam cushion, it's comfortable.4
Wheels don’t workHanThe wheels stucked all the time1
Comfort and styleMarkNice modern design with comfort in mind armrests are not adjustable but you can leave the off if not needed5
Very comfy for meAnonymousI'm 5'9" and 150 lbs and find it very comfortable. It might not be right for every body, but I'm very happy with it for the price. Also, it's not ugly or clunky like a lot of office chairs.5
Works as expected ChristinaEasy to assemble, my son likes it. Does the job you can sit it and it's comfortable.4
Love this!EllenVery comfortable and supportive for the price.5
Great chair for its priceLucasEasy to incline and regulate height for comfort. Relatively easy to assemble for a relatively experienced amateur fitter like me. Works well, no defects after 4 months of use. Take care to not incline when feet are not on the ground, the chair might tip.4
Medieval Torture DeviceAnonymous reviewerThis chair is inhumanity. For close to $100 there is absolutely no reason to buy. The seat cushion is hard, hurts my butt, and is very slippery. The back does not tilt. The rocking mechanism is so stiff that it is essentially useless. My wheels are extremely loose so that it rolls all over the place, but I read other comments saying the wheels do not roll. I am guessing the quality control is just horrendous. I have severe back pain and butt pain after 15 minutes sitting in this chair, and it also makes my eyes hurt because it puts me in a terrible posture. I had to buy another chair after using it for two months. Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more for a much better experience.1
Wheels don’t rollAnonymous reviewerAm I missing something w the casters on the bottom? They’re really stiff and don’t roll. Otherwise chair is good for the price. 2
ChairTaylorGood for the price4
Needs drillChen FanPretty comfortable and looks good for the discounted price. Installation however requires a Phillips head that isn't included to install the armrests, and the armrests are NOT threaded. Unless you're strong enough or have a drill to thread the holes in the armrests, would not recommend getting it as without the armrests the chair cannot support the backside. 5
Nice slim chairRobynI love how slim this chair is. It fits well for my 12 year old and myself (smallish at 112 lbs). I also JUST watched the product video and figured out (after a year of owning it) how to pull the height adjuster arm out in order to make the seat rock back. Now we don't hate how stiff straight it is anymore lol! It's comfortable enough for daily homework, but the seat pad isn't the thickest so bony butts will eventually hit the bottom.4
Ikea Gaming Desk & ChairKarenI bought this beautiful Gaming Desk & Chair for our grandson. Very easy to put together and he loves it. We all love Ikea and so glad you are in Columbus, OH. 5
Love ItDestineeI bought this chair because my old one broke and it has been great. It's very comfortable and has great head and back support. I use this chair about 8-10 hours a day (work) and have had it for about a month. It was definitely worth the buy. 5
Decent chair GavinFor the price, I cannot gripe to much. However, if you plan on spending hours sitting on this chair, I would not reccomend. Even when locked, the chair will lean back slightly and theres not much support. 3
niceOmareasy to built5
great price to valueDerrickgood quality chair and can be a office chair as well5
Comfort chairFrankThis chair has a lot of comfort and the colors are great!5
Great back supportLarnellThe process of attaching all parts together and the time it took to complete this job, was barely a half hour. This chair provides great back support for my entire backside. Very comfortable.5

Accessories for HUVUDSPELARE

HUVUDSPELARE Gaming chair, black

Game on!

At IKEA we have experience in life at home, but we’re beginners in the gaming world. That’s why we decided to team up with recognized experts from Republic of Gamers (ROG), to better understand what everyday life is like for devoted PC gamers. It resulted in desks, chairs, storage, and accessories that can help more players to more victories.

Ask any gamer and they’ll tell you gaming is more than a fun past-time. It’s a way to wind down and connect with others – for some, even a livelihood. When Sofia Wiktorsson, one of our product developers, started working with our new range for passionate players, she stepped into a completely new universe – the gaming world.

We level up to help more gamers

“We cooperated with ROG the whole time and met both professional and high-performance gamers,” tells Sofia. When she and the team got to pick the brains of the players and watch them in action, it became clearer where IKEA can make a difference. “We saw a need for comfortable and ergonomic chairs and aids for long gaming sessions, stable furniture and accessories that improve the precision, and smart storage for the hardware. But, we also developed solutions that make it easier to eat and drink without spilling while playing.”

Democratic gaming

There are several billion gamers in the world, but it’s not a uniform group of people – the diversity is great, with different cultures, ages, educational levels, and incomes. “We want to make it possible to adapt the gaming station to your taste and your needs, no matter where you come from, if you live on your own, or together with someone else,” explains Sofia. “The products should fit with all other things people have in their homes. It’s our way to democratize the good gaming experience – for both gamers and the ones that don’t play.”
