Just what I neededDebraThe cabinet is large for a bathroom medicine cabinet so be sure you measure your area you plan to install it. It was just what I needed to store hygiene products: deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrush, hair products, ect. It is simple and attractive.

Really enjoying the spaceTaniaWe installed this in our tiny home container and it has been the best stylish storage decision for us. Ample space to store items behind the mirrors for a his/hers space and more for guests as needed below.
Defective low-grade wood that split and warpedMariaI owned a number of Hemnes items in the past and loved them. Based on my recent purchases, the quality went so downhill I was in disbelief. The range now is made of low-grade wood that may split, warp etc, and generally is not suitable for furniture (or much else really). One of the main boards of this cabinet was warped upon opening the box and it split along all the screws as soon as each screw was only half way in. The other panel looked better but you could still see it being warped.
It’s a nice design, and a very heavy piece, but absolutely useless if you imagine that all those nice heavy glass shelves and mirrors are being held by a low grade wood that can’t hold a screw. I had to exchange several defective wooden panels from other Hemnes items that I had bought recently, but this cabinet is beyond repair - it basically needs all its wooden parts to be replaced with real solid wood. Shame for such a lack of even basic structural quality.
Wonderful Cabinet!LynnWe are so very happy with our cabinet! Components were all in excellent condition, and assembly was very straightforward. We like the way the doors are installed AFTER the cabinet is mounted makes it so much easier! The glass shelves are great, and let more light throughout the cabinet, plus make viewing contents from below much easier. We opted to not add door knobs at this time, because we like the clean design. Perhaps the best feature: the interior mirrors!

Good cabinet for priceShannonI bought this cabinet for extra storage and it does the job nicely. It looks good and I am happy with it. My only issue was not being able to install a shelf in the spots behind the hinges. It would be dangerous to try to put the in before installing the backing or hanging, but maybe I am missing something. I scooted down a few spots and all is well.
Excellent DesignLindaWhen you are short on space, this cabinet gives you the room needed to handle all those items used on a daily basis. Plus the design is very attractive. Looks great in our remodeled bathroom!!

What is mirror glass?
Mirror glass is made of mostly of ordinary glass with a reflective coating in some kind of metal. In the past it was common for the coating to contain lead or mercury – but over time, both of these metals have been shown to be harmful to people and the environment. That’s why, as of several years ago, IKEA has a total ban on using lead or mercury in our mirrors and instead it is non-toxic silver or aluminium that reflects your mirror image.
