With this daybed you quickly and easily create space for overnight guests. Just pull out the bed base and you get a double bed in no time.
The large drawers have space for extra duvets, pillows, linens or other things you need to store, but want to have close at hand.
The high frame creates a cozy cocoon feeling, and is lacquered so that it's easy to maintain.
With some soft, fluffy pillows as back support, you easily transform this day-bed into a comfortable sofa.
You will get all-over support and comfort with the resilient foam mattress.
Good to know
The daybed must be combined with two twin mattresses. They are placed on top of each other when you use the daybed as a single bed, and next to each other when you use it as a double bed.

The mattress leaves something to be desired if you use it pulled out as a king, so don't order them. Just order something different and use it. It feels solid, and is easy to pull out.

Regret this purchaseCathieWhile I love the look of this bed and the storage, its functionality has been a disappointment. I got it instead of bunk beds for my grandsons visits, thinking it could be used by visiting adults as well. Even with upgraded mattresses adults find it uncomfortable. In less than a year it has had slats break which cause it to be difficult to extend out. I read a review by someone who has had one for 11 years without a problem and think the quality must have changed.
Disappointed with the quality.KrishnaI bought this IKEA daybed for our guest room, and while it looks nice as a decorative piece, the quality is disappointing. It was barely used, but during a guest stay, a couple of slats broke, which was an embarrassing situation. Now I'm trying to replace the broken parts, but they’re hard to find. Overall, I’m not happy with the purchase. I wouldn’t recommend this bed if you’re looking for something durable or worth the value.
Opens to a king, not a doubleJohnGreat, but should have anticipated the obvious result of putting two twins together would result in a king bed. This was convenient given we were getting rid of a king mattress in another room and so could reuse all the bedding from that. In general though, this bed is great. Looks good, has a lot of storage, and is good for one or two guests. We found all the directions to be pretty straightforward.

Update on this product Anonymous reviewerWe have had this Daybed (White), for over 11 Years. We never had any issues with it. The slide out came in handy whenever we had guests sleep over. It survived our boys jumping on it and standing on it with their cousins. I highly recommended this product.

The only reason I had to get rid of it was because my parents ended up getting a different guest room bed and there wasn't space for this one anymore. I will be moving to a new apartment soon and I am seriously considering buying this bed for myself. The only thing 'wrong' with it is that setup and taking apart can be a little difficult if you are moving it. This bed lasted three overseas moves (which if you don't know, that can easily break furniture.) It was still in perfect condition after every move! It's cheaper and very comfortable and I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new bed! Just keep the instructions if you think you are ever gonna move!

Unhappy MelanieI bought the bed and had task rabbit put it together. It looks beautiful. I’m a 61 yr old woman. After he left I was making the bed and I couldn’t pull out the trundle. My husband had to use all his strength to get it out. My daughter has the same bed. My son in law put it together, no problem ( they’re in another state). When I tried to chat with task rabbit, the robot didn’t understand what I was saying. I asked for live person. After sending pictures 3 times they told me they could send him back. If he couldn’t do it the first time I don’t have time for him to learn. They said if they send someone else I have to pay again because they work independently. I said that was unexceptionable. No response.its been over a month. I called ikea they gave me their customer service number. No one has ever answered.
Great bed for a small space!!!JanelI purchased this bed 10 years ago to be used in my spare office/guest room. I love the fact that it can be turned into a king size bed when fully extended for when guests decide to stay the night. I love the look and the space saving it gives when positioned as a single bed.
Replacement BedFradaWe like the bed but it wasn’t the easiest to assemble. Boxes were numbered so we thought we had to follow those numbers. The directions didn’t have numbers which made it slow in putting together. CUSTOMER SERVICE was fantastic though.
Not traditional size - IKEA’s Advice is WRONG DouglasWe bought this bed a few months ago. It’s a standard twin size of 38x75. We just opened it up for the first time to a “queen”. It’s 75x75…NOTHING fits that. This bed would have been
Much better made as a twin XL so when it opened up, it would have been a standard KING.
IKEA says full/double fit this bed, which is NOT TRUE.
If you want to use it as a twin, you’ll be fine. If you’re expecting a queen or full, you’ll be seriously disappointed. We’re stuck with queen sheets that don’t fit the bed. We should have done more research.

what a mistakeErinwe got a taskrabbit because of how many reviews there were that said how complicated the setup was. we wanted to love this daybed and have it ready for our guests and ran into so many issues. the taskrabbit said there were flaws in the pre-drilled holes, and our drawers didn't fit properly. so many parts of the bed didn't fit or were loose upon set up. and to add insult to injury, the first night someone slept on the bed, the base of the bed broke off from the frame and our guests fell to the ground (the materials are so cheap that it broke off WITH the screws and all and the "wood" inside looked like cardboard. we are now in the long process of back and forth chatting to try to get a refund. this item is brand new. NEVER again, not worth it.
